**Q: What color stone did you use?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The stone is by Cultured Stone, and it is Bucks County Ledgestone. Glad you like the look of this renovation! In the photo attached you can see what it looked like with all dryvit before our renovation.

**Q: Need help with curb appeal** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Just bought this cute little rancher, with absolutely no curb appeal.  I was thinking about building a small porch around the front door and living room window.  Any ideas?

A: Take a look at a similar project we designed. 

You could add a similar gable front over the front door and the large window to the right of it, just leave it open fronted for a porch. Adding a gable on the front will break up the monotony of the flat facade.

**Q: Blue Smurf house in need of some serious curb appeal.** *(in Design Dilemma)*

The previous owners painted our house (including the brick) this not s wonderful blue color and had desert based landscape.  I really want to paint but have no idea what color would work and would love some help with maybe making it more architecturally appealing.  Also the landscaping needs some help - what kind of bushes or flowers or trees would work here?  We are in California.  Thank you so much

A: I would love to see your brick in a color matching the brick of the stoop. There are companies that can stain your brick so that it has some texture to the color, and isn't just flat. And then I would paint the stucco a tan/beige that is a tone in the existing brick of the stoop. Keep the trim white. And if you can splurge, I'd love to see a barrel portico on brackets over your front door.

A: The roof on this project was existing, so we do not have the exact product description. Elevations was responsible for the new siding, re-facing, garage door, columns, and brick staining.
