> I hired Bob Sachs of Stonington Designs to transform a coat closet into a powder room on the first floor of my home. I still needed to have a place for coats so I needed his advice and his opinion.

> Bob came up with a fabulous design!  Because my new powder room needed to be bigger (by code) than the coat closet, Bob needed to 'steal' some space from my foyer which was not large to begin with. He suggested making one of the corners rounded so that the space did not look cramped. I trusted Bob as I had seen many of the projects that he had completed prior to hiring him for this job. The powder room came out better than I could ever have imagined! And... Bob was able to install curved crown molding which matched the existing molding -- so that the powder room looked like it was part of the original house!

I'd love to know the island's dimensions, butcher block's dimensions, and whether it is attached! Thanks!

A: The walnut base cabinetry is 8' 4" and the white drop down cabinetry is 21" + 1" overhangs.  It is all attached.
