> In 2016, we undertook a complete exterior remodel/update, total kitchen remodel, and update of dining room and three story foyer.  Carol provided design services for our exterior color palette, kitchen layout and finish selection, and interior palette definition.

I had spent considerable time thinking about our projects, but my husband was not as comfortable articulating his preferences.  We found the Design Center visit helpful to understand each other’s preferences and align our design preferences for our upcoming projects. It turns out he isn't quite contemporary himself, but he's closer than I am. I'm not quite traditional, not quite contemporary. This landed us in an area called transitional. Carol also brought us to look at fabric designs until our senses of color began to coalesce. It didn't take long for us to start leaning toward a particular color family. This became our palette. A: I simply had the old and new oak floors stripped down and finished with a grey tone stain.
