> Building with Roger was as easy an experience as it gets. We had a tricky basement lot that many other builders found challenging to come up with ideas to make things work for what we wanted. Attempting to work with other builders proved challenging and quite frankly, scary.

> My wife Heather found Roger on Houzz and I gave him a call. We talked for over an hour on the phone and as I was describing the property and what we were trying to do Roger was able to listen and describe multiple options to solve what was thought to be a complex problem but for Roger proved trivial. We live in Boston and I ended the call with Roger saying I would fly down on Friday to walk the lot with him.

> After meeting him in person and discussing the project it was further clear to me that he was the right person for our project. We started originally working with a track home builder and never thought of ourselves as the type of people that would use a custom builder like Roger because it would be too expensive. What we realized is that you can have the custom home of your dreams for less than you think. Other builders try to lure you in with a low price for a home that they can build per their plans. We quickly found out that adding square footage is expensive under these builders business plans and you making changes to the plans is how they make their money.

> Roger doesn't operate with a bait and switch business plan. He offers logical solutions that are budget conscience. Don't get me wrong here, if you have a crazy idea and unlimited funds Roger can deliver on your dream like no one else. But for a practical person like myself he can deliver amazing design options that fit your budget. I always told Roger to let me know when I was wasting money. I got a little out of control thinking I wanted a lot of cedar siding. He priced it out and said if you want it we can do it no problem, but in reality he said, the house is going to look great as originally designed. He was totally right, I don't miss it and in fact the house would have looked too busy.

> One other thing that was amazing about Roger is his communication. I live in Boston and travel 4-5 months a year. Whether I was in China, Boston or right in North Carolina Roger was always able to keep me in the loop. I never felt like we were not making steady progress. Progress on the house was always steady, he has all his guys lined right up for the next step. The only issue you will have is making sure you and your wife agree on all the selections before Roger has his guys there ready to install them!

> My wife and I never thought we would ever own a house as nice as this. We come from a humble background and have always worked hard to get where we are. Roger treated us like family. After going through the building process I think of Roger as more of a friend and less of a General Contractor.

> Roger is a straight shooter and isn't looking to make a quick buck. He will build you an amazing house with custom finishes like you rarely see. He builds the house like he is going to live in it. His relationships with his sub-contractors are very positive. They all clearly respect Roger and enjoy working with him. This shows in the pride they all take in their work.
