> We hired Garden Design to design and manage our backyard project including a pool, patio, retaining wall, fence, stairs and landscaping. After researching his website and looking at his gallery, we assumed he coordinated these high end projects. We had just finished building a house and made it clear we needed someone to manage this full outdoor project for us. Frederick is a top notch Garden designer, but we also hired him to be our project manager. He had contacts to hire professional subs for each area, but we were really frustrated with how many issues we had to keep track of and follow up on our own. In the end, we have problems with our retaining wall, cracks in our patio material, and lost plantings around the pool. Recommend him for your garden design only. Fair pricing.

> From the moment we met Frederick, owner of Garden Design, Inc., we knew we were in great hands.  He shared the vision and passion that we had for our backyard landscaping project.  He was able to develop a landscaping plan that was appropriate for the style of our home and kept our budget in mind while planning.  All of the plants used were of mature size and healthy quality.  The installation team were mindful of our property and executed the plan as we had vision.  Frederick was present during all stages of the project and made any necessary adjustments that were needed.  We are looking forward to working with Frederick this winter on a master plan for our entire property and will be using him and his team for years to come.

A: That creeping plant is Jasminum nudiflorum

A: The project is in Bethlehem PA

A: Yes they are microbiota.  They are on a hill so they have good drainage.

**Q: What is the creeping ground cover on the left of the picture?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It is Mazus reptans.  A great carpet but it does like moisture so plant it in areas where it will get enough moisture, definitely not on a hill.

**Q: Did you create a story to surround the Zen rocks?  Their placement is beautiful.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is the diseccted maple a 'Tamukyama?'

A: The rocks were especially selected for their beauty, form, and character.  They were placed to enhance each other in an artistic way.   I love beautiful rocks so it was fun designing this garden.  The tree is a Sangoi Kaku Acre.  Very hard to find.  The particular beauty of this rather large form of a Japanese maple is that it's bark turns bright red in the winter so it is a stand out in the winter garden.

A: This is used for feeding the Koi automatically.
