> We hired Fred and the team at New England Wine Cellars last year to build a wine cellar as part of our overall basement renovation.  Fred was extremely knowledgeable about everything related to wine cellar design, from rack styles that were best suited to the types of wine in our collection to HVAC needs.  He came up with some wonderful design ideas, including an arched ceiling that became one of the focal points of the cellar, riddling rack display shelving for champagne bottles and an island with a glass-topped counter for display of large format bottles.  He was able to fully customize all the shelving throughout the cellar to get our desired mix of rack types that included pull-out drawers, display shelving (including horizontal display racks for large formats) and the riddling rack as well as individual bottle, diamond bins, bulk bins and OWC racks.  The quality of the materials and workmanship was exceptional.  Fred worked seamlessly with the contractor that was working on our overall basement project and provided input where needed, but was also happy to let the contractor's team take the lead when necessary.  The team was very professional throughout the process, the project was completed in a timely manner once we finalized the design, and we are extremely happy with the results.  Overall, New England Wine Cellars built us a beautiful wine cellar and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a professional quality cellar.
