> We have dealt with Sage construction 5 times in the last 7 or 8 year. We continue to go back to Sage for a few simple reasons. Firstly, Honest and straightforward estimate pricing for the contract. Second, projects have always been completed on time and on budget unless we changed the project scope. Third, the quality of the work is consistently excellent.

> We hired Sage Construction in Spring 2013 to completely renovate and bring our character home (built in 1930) to modern standards.  The house was completely stripped down to the studs and rebuilt by Sage, with new wiring, plumbing and a completely new top storey floor added. The crew led by James Wise and his son, Nicholas (as project manager), accomplished what I would regard as nothing short of miraculous.  They kept within our budget and finished our new home on time.  Our neighbours marvelled how quickly Sage finished the renovation.  I found Nicholas and James, together with their crew of subtrades to be consummate professionals who truly took absolute pride in their workmanship.  Nicholas and James were able to effortlessly communicate to us the complicated aspects of the renovation in easy to understand, layman's terms, and they were always accessible and attentive to our needs.  They were highly creative in coming up with solutions to the various issues that came up along the way (as is the case with major home renovations), and their crew spared no attention to detail.  As you know, there are many, many general contractors out there, but in my honest opinion, anyone seeking a quality, custom-built west-side home would be seriously remissed by overlooking Sage Construction.  This is a family-owned and operated business, with each member and subtradesman being accountable to the client; they really stand behind their work, and my wife and I are so fortunate to have had them as our general contractor. Highly, unequivocably recommended.

> Our firm, Kettle River Timberworks Ltd. (www.kettlerivertimber.com), were commissioned to design, fabricate and install timberwork for this showcase home for Sage Construction.  We've worked with many general contractors but the team at Sage are second to none.  The owners and sons worked directly with us for the installation of the timberwork and demonstrated that they are talented carpenters with a keen attention to detail.  They asked all the right questions to ensure that subsequent finishes integrated well with the timberwork.  James Wise exemplifies integrity.  It was an absolute pleasure working with them.

> We were hired by our clients to design their new home when Sage was already contracted as the builder.  We had never worked with them before so did not know what to expect.  The attention to detail and craftsmanship was fantastic.  As designers we often have issues with the way some of our designs are constructed, but had no such issues with Sage.  The Sage team was very easy to work with, and they contacted us when they were unsure of things in our drawings or specs, something we appreciate.  At the same, time, they did not bother us continually for small details (as lots of contractors do), since they could handle it/figure it out themselves.  We would gladly refer Sage to people looking to renovate or construct a new home.
