He stopped by often to make sure everything was going as planned and to answer any question about the subcontractors. Amazingly, he was NEVER unavailable to us. His nephew Austin would come by and pick up all the old cabinetry and materials that went with a full kitchen reno (LOTS of garbage and dump runs for him). He was always thoughtful enough to ask us if we had any personal stuff he wanted us to take, since he was hauling anyway. So thoughtful!!! He also doubled the size of our island, increasing storage space. Doug's Master Carpenter Bob appeared each morning at 8:30 sharp to work on the install and at the end of each day he cleaned the area before he went home.
