> During our experience with DPS we experienced the following issues: mold, multiple failed inspections, framing issues, HVAC issues, paint issues, roof issues, structural issues, attempts to double charge us for services, unapproved editing and/or deletion of online project documentation, vehicle damaged yard, compression damage to concrete driveway, inaccurate information provided numerous times throughout the project, damaged windows, inadequate erosion control, bowed wall, AV outlet covered up by drywall, selection issues, trim issues, staircase issues, water damage, and significant project delays caused by a multitude of construction errors and/or project management oversights. The project took more than two years.

**★★★★★ — Rob M, May 2019**

> DPS Construction built my garage in a local historic district. They were up front and fair with design, options and cost. I went with DPS because of their pervious reviews received and they did not disappoint. They took care of all the questions I had and went the extra mile even after the construction was completed. I would absolutely use them again for future projects.

**★★★★★ — Queen City Stone and Tile, Aug. 2017**

> We had the pleasure of installing tile and supplying Italian carrara marble for this neat project on Clement Ave. The tile selections paid homage to the original architecture including the historic nature of the home and neighborhood. We enjoyed working with DPS, they take very good care of their subs. We hope to be apart of their future projects!

**★ — Hubert Ausbie, Aug. 2014**

> Unfortunately this contractor did not work out. DPS was hired to complete part of the basement with a opportunity to do more around the house. Had to get another contractor to finish. DPS's quality definitely got worse as the work near completion. He also had two insurance claims on this vary project which could have easily turned into three, but I had to pay to replace the damaged items out of the retention just to get the work completed with a qualified contractor.

**★★★★★ — Brett Portaro, July 2014**

> I had the pleasure of working with Steve during a basement remodeling project in my home last year. Steve impressed me with his attention to detail and problem solving skills. He listened to my interests and wishes and guided me through the decisions required to achieve the desired results. I wanted the finished basement to feel like an extension of the remainder of the house, and as such it was necessary to match the results to the existing materials and design details in the home. Steve was up for the challenge and spent considerable time researching the flooring materials available to ensure the desired results could be achieved and within the budget we had established.
> During the project there were numerous opportunities for me to witness both his problem solving capabilities and his carpentry skills/knowledge. Steve devised some innovative solutions/ideas related to the overall finished basement results. His experience and knowledge of materials/products/code requirements saved time, money and solved numerous challenges during the course of the project.
> I am extremely pleased with the quality of Steve's results - his work undoubtedly provided the best results within the given price range of the project. I feel comfortable recommending him to friends and colleagues and do so without hesitation on the merits of his knowledge, his attention to detail, his problem solving capabilities, and his willingness to openly communicate and discuss issues that arise. Steve provides quality and exacts quality from all with whom he works.
> In closing, I was pleased with my experiences working with Steve Sebrell and confidently recommend him due to his communication skills, attention to detail, quality of craftsmanship, problem solving capabilities and industry knowledge/experience.

## Community Q&A

**Q: What is the height of the paneling?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I'm pretty sure that we put this paneling at 5" above the floor. That is our typical height for judges paneling.

**Q: Is there a hidden fan for the stovetop or did you opt not to have one?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Great question! This is a downdraft range. The exhaust is vented down and out through the crawl space of the home.

**Q: Gotta have this shower tile! What is the brand and name/number/color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Absolutely. Good luck with your project!

**Q: I love the flooring. Can you tell me where you got it?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This was purchased from The Tile Shop. I believe that it has been discontinued because I cannot find it on their website.

**Q: Where can you buy the mirror?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The homeowner purchased the mirror from Restoration Hardware online.
