In our previous home, Stephanie had made us feel like royalty when she designed custom window drapes for our 22 ft high ceilings, created an office space that blew my mind each time I looked over at the satin covered platform with tassels that showcased my wedding dress and at the custom covered chaise lounge where I could take a break from the grind. The best thing is when we downsized, we took our window treatments with us and Stephanie refashioned the long window coverings to fit 6 smaller windows in our new home. I am trying to figure out a setup that works for this space, but can't get it to work be because there is not enough wall space on the south and east walls (the wall with the exterior door at the top of the drawing is the north wall) for theater appliances. When I am in the room it just does not feel big enough for an island, so I have been trying out an L shape counter but I just don't have an eye for space. Any ideas?
