**Q: Where to end backsplash?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My countertop extends past the upper cabinets almost 16" and I am installing white subway tile. I don't really like the "step down" look that people have suggested to me. Do I just end it at the end of the cabinets? End of countertops? Anyone have any other creative ideas? Thank you!!

A: Or you could do a step pattern from the edge of the cabinet to the edge of the counter.
