> Doug Bryant and his crew at A Lost Art transformed our garden in so many wonderful ways, all around the house on a very steep hill with quite a few unique challenges. > Doug Bryant and his 'A Lost Art Stonework Design' did an incredible job for me about 10 years ago that continues to wow my wife and I on a daily basis. I initially wanted a simple sonoma stone wall like so many you can find in Cali. He recommended a dry stack curving wall with a different kind of stone from Sonoma.  I liked the idea and told him to do it. It was and is really beautiful, artfully connected to the home and gardens it surrounds. He also set a number of standing stones within the curve/garden area that were well chosen and beautifully placed. It is by far the most successful - exterior enhancement to our home I have seen.  He has great vision and follow-through.
