We knew the project would be extremely challenging given local planning regulations and ravine protection bylaws. We knew Chris was who we wanted to work with on our first site visit as he immediately saw beyond the difficulties associated with the site and understood our vision. > > Chris walked us through a logical design process, kept us informed as building issues arose, resolved these issues and dealt with several thorny building bylaws all in a timely manner. At every step Chris was genuinely interested in our input and understood how important it was to us that the end product blends seamlessly with the street’s architectural narrative. The house he designed is all that and more. I have a 1930's house with a 1980's addition that didn't work at all. He walked around the house and sat down with me to find out what I wanted to use the addition for. He made wonderful suggestions and pointed out several things that I had not thought of at all.
