They do amazing work, and make sure it's done right. > We’ve lived in our 1930 craftsman bungalow for the past 25 years. We did most of the cosmetic updates when we first moved in and then added a bath and a complete kitchen update/porch addition 18 years ago.  Since we love our house, neighbors and neighborhood, we decided we needed to do a complete renovation if we wanted to stay here for another 25 years. We created a list of everything we wanted done: expand the kitchen into the back porch, gut and rebuild the original bath, move the laundry up from the basement, redo all the ceilings, refinish the hardwood floors, build a new deck, paint inside and out, etc.  We wanted a list that included everything we felt we needed so we wouldn’t have to do it again.  As we began our search for a contractor, I looked at resources that I have as a real estate agent as well as reliable sites such as this one to come up with a list of contractors.  We got a variety of responses from the companies we contacted, but the first and best response we got was from Jim Walker at Copper Sky Renovation. The bid was competitive, complete and included a selections list with high and low estimates.  The final bid was based on the “high” selections total so it was easy to compare their bid with others we received, and it allowed us to keep our costs down as we made each selection.  Jim and the architect took our suggestions and created a design that was exactly what we wanted, even adding things we hadn’t thought of. Their craftsmanship flowed seamlessly with the original house and the updates we did 18 years ago. Our project manager, Dennis, was as professional as you can get. He kept us well informed, listened to us carefully, and responded to any issues we had. The project was completed on time and under budget, and now our house is the envy of the block. Our “new” house is more than we could have imagined when we started this process. The best selection we made was choosing Copper Sky Renovations.
