I would like to expand my house if the zoning would allow and to completely update my house, adding an attached greenhouse and creating a true English Garden in my backyard. The woman who I spoke with told me that just to open a conversation with them would require a, wait for it, $15,000 consultation fee! That fee wouldn't even be applied to the work if I went along with the project. The scope of my project in my mind is rather large, but again, because it is NYC, I have absolutely no idea what would or could be approved.
