My favorite Heath investment was the 500 square feet of white oval tile for my kitchen backsplash. I bought overstock (1st quality, which is just "we made too much," mixed with 2nd quality "a few imperfections") and it continues to be a centerpiece and conversation starter in my kitchen. It also cleans incredibly easily and is acid-safe. What is great about Heath is they are a local Bay Area company from Sausalito with a deep history in the area and 60's modernism and an equally deep complicated color palette. They can make Avocado look fantastic! We've done well searching their factory seconds and overruns, reveling in the serendipity of surprising color combinations in a random pattern.
