We asked her to design a space that allowed for free-play for kids but at the same time felt cozy and inviting for parents...plus a cafe! What she designed is incredible and we loved working with her from start to finish. We are a start-up and she was very generous with her time and worked within our budget every step of the way. She explained every drawing, every piece of material and textile, every architectural feature, everything that was happening during the buildout ...we asked all the questions we possibly could (she is patient) and her responses were always knowledgable, confident, and she was always right! > Whittney was our advocate always, and worked very closely with our contractor to be sure they were following the design. She recommended sub-contractors and was able to decrease our build-out budget significantly. We have been open for 6 months as of June 2015 and our guests (children and parents) use our space as we had envisioned them doing so, which says a lot for a new design concept. Whittney is still involved in our space and donated her time to update our chalkboard wall. Yes, she is an illustrator as well! As a cost conscience small business owner, our design investment with Mawr Design is something worth every penny. You can find this tile just about anywhere now, i believe this specific tile came from The Tile Shop. **Q: Hello!** *(in Photo Questions)* can you please tell me the name of the wood and stain you used in this space for the exposed beam and the barn door. Its amazing! Considering using you all! A: Hi! Thanks so much! The wood that was specified in this project was oak and unfortunately i do not have the custom stain name, but we typically stick with Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore stain. **Q: what is the hardware used on vanity** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The hardware specified in this bathroom is from Rejuvenation. **Q: Cabinet paint color** *(in Photo Questions)* Could you please tell me what paint color was used on the cabinets? I would also love to know the source of the pendant lights. Thank you! A: Hi Rachel, the paint that was specified on the cabinets is Oyster Bay SW 6206 and the pendents were from Pottery Barn but are not on the website any longer. **Q: What material did you use under the kitchen island?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: I want to say satin? They were custom cabinets, and the cabinet maker made them, per our drawings. So not 100% sure, but typically he uses satin finish!
