> If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Our project was led by Matt Sullivan, who is quite simply a rock star. He's everything you'd want in a Quarterback or Leader for any large scale project, and is a phenomenal representative of SDG. While SDG has undoubtedly completed many projects of much greater size & scale, they treated ours like it was the most important one in their portfolio. The entire team was professional, friendly, on time and very skilled at their individual specialties. Our project involved a back yard renovation centered on a new pool, and deck/kitchen/entertainment area. We had carpenters (Elmo is incredible), masons, and landscapers from SDG, along with a kitchen redesign from a company they recommended and partnered with beautifully. There were no surprises, and they never said 'No' if we had a new idea or something we wanted tweaked in the plans. They were able to offer us higher end options where/when we wanted, but always with an option to stay 'on budget.' They dealt with outside 3rd parties, the Town of Needham and a variety of other people that we didn't have the time or expertise to work with. The depth and breadth of their knowledge is truly impressive. I would recommend SDG without reservation!

> We used Sudbury Design Group -- specifically Kelley Woodacre -- to design and build our courtyard in our new condo. Kelley was great; she was punctual, reliable, pleasant, and did an excellent job creating a design and overseeing the project. She listened to what we wanted and gave us something that matched our budget and expectations. She was super.

**★★★★★ — Twin Peaks Construction, LLC, March 2016**

> We have worked with Sudbury Design Group on numerous home renovation and custom poolhouse/deck projects. The professionalism and quality that they deliver is top notch. When the job needs to be done right and attention to detail is of highest importance Sudbury Design is the company to call. They can handle the project from design phase to completion. It is refreshing to work with a company that strives to always “do the right thing” and not take shortcuts.

**★★★★★ — Dan Fradkin, March 2016**

> We engaged with SDG after seeing the wonderful result of a neighbor's project. Our challenge was that we had a home lot where the grass in the back of the house was down a staircase from the back door so our large yard went mostly unused for entertaining and relaxing. SDG proposed moving a bit of earth to create a multi tiered outdoor space with decking and a bluestone patio which feels like a natural extension of the house. This space provides an ideal setting for seating and dining with shade built in through discrete umbrellas. We also received great council on a complementary set of shrubbery and trees which ideally frames the space, providing a sense of enclosure without feeling disconnected from the house and outside world. The space feels so wonderful and integrated with the house. Friends who come over for a barbecue often comment how nice they feel just sitting outside in our reconfigured space. Scott was very competent, creative and attentive throughout with great followup to make sure that all of the plantings were doing well. In a world where you are often happy to have someone just show up...SDG are true professionals and skilled craftspeople.

> We have worked with SDG for more than 10 years to design, install and maintain our residential property. Their attention to detail, expertise and creativity in the hardscape as well as landscape areas are exceptional.

**★★★★★ — gvilchick, Feb. 2016**

> We have worked with Sudbury Design Group for 5 years. During that time we have had the opportunity to engage with Sudbury on 3 major landscape design and build projects that included (1) a significant redesign and landscaping of a 1+ acre backyard (2) the design and installation of a comprehensive landscape lighting project and (3) the design and build-out of a deck area that integrated natural wood and fieldstone to complement the other elements of the landscaping.
>
> In each project the professionalism and execution of the entire team exceeded our expectations. The design process was collaborative and creative with Sudbury offering great suggestions that evolved into the final design plan. The hand-off to the build team was seamless and the designer remained engaged throughout the project to ensure that the outcome was consistent with the plans. The construction and landscaping team very detail oriented and the materials and plantings were of the highest quality. In each case the projects came in on time and within budget. We were delighted with the outcomes and how well each project enhanced the property.

**★★★★★ — JoAnn Verderese, Feb. 2016**

> This project involved the design and implementation of a townhouse courtyard and entrance foyer. I was most impressed with the balance of the design which used a combination of Bluestone patterns, a custom pergola and lattice panels surrounded by a wonderful combination of plants and bushes. Sudbury Design never cuts corners. For example, pavers on the 90 degree angle are always cut from one large paver and not two pieces set together. Every aspect of the design was implemented with perfection or it was rejected. Sudbury design worked with and supervised the use of lighting and irrigations technicians to make sure every element of the design created the perfect courtyard setting. Sudbury Design managed every aspect of the project with the utmost of professionalism.

**★★★★★ — jchiricotti, Feb. 2015**

> We had just put an addition on the house and not only needed new landscaping, but the driveway and deck needed to be rebuilt. Our neighbors had referred SDG. We worked with Ryan Macomber who is young, hungry, professional and creative. We paid for a design that would take place over several years in phases. Ryan absolutely heard our wishes and worked within our budget and gave us practical advise. Ryan was also flexible in the design process when we made changes. I also liked the option of being able to send bids out to outside contractor so we could compare. We also appreciated an itemized price breakdown of all the projects so we could prioritize and plan. We were on vacation when the bulk of the work was being done. We knew we were in good hands and appreciated the photos sent so we could relax.

**★★★★★ — Nicole Hogarty Designs, March 2014**

> I have worked with Sudbury Design Group on several projects. SDG has always exceeded my expectations with their creativity, attention to detail and knowledge. I am always happy to forward their name to friends & clients and will look forward to working with them in the near future. The entire team is absolutely delightful to work with.
