Brandon, the owner, met with me early on to review my own previously imaged inspirations and to discuss & understand my design style. From the current style of the home we connected and overnight he produced a computer likeness of the project from my design hopes. I'm very visual so having a colored spec of a finished product is the ultimate help. Especially when needing to choose all the shadings of the paint/stain and surrounding stone. I presented my vision and Brandon, having done similar before a few large amounts of times, made fantastic suggestions. We both agreed that if he felt something I thought of wouldn't look right he would tell me. After all, such a big long term lasting investment needs to look great from concept to implementation. Plus, I liked that he would be honest since it's TCD "signatures" on all the work to be completed. I equate that to an artist being proud enough of their artwork to put their autograph on. It's not just a reflection of my own choices and tastes but TCD's proudness to say "yeah we did that, doesn't it look and work great." The best way I can quickly describe them is that TCD just "gets it." By that I mean personally & professionally listening, advising, and implementing with top techs at each phase. Brandon's techs have been with him a long time so that usually means quality and trust. Seriously, that's hard to find post-COVID days as quality in just about every service has greatly suffered. I myself have worked for highly ranked customer service based corporations where great pride and over producing on results just can't be taught. A person either has those traits inherently or not. I recognized Brandon and his staff had them. I see this as an investment for me and my home. Investments should continue to grow in happiness and more. I know this one will. Brandon also gave me the names of the multiple stone stores he uses so I could visit, at my leisure, to compare and choose the correct look and coloring for my style. It took me a little time but well worth it.The same with the fireplace. We use a speaker fabric insert on most of our cabinets to allow for air circulation, for sound to pass through if our customers put a speaker inside, and to allow the remote signal to pass through. We purchase our fabric in bulk through a specialty distributor, but you can purchase similar fabric at JoAnn's on online through Amazon. I hope this helps! **Q: How did you round the walls? Then we use 1/4" drywall to cover the area. **Q: What is the TV mounted to?** *(in Photo Questions)* How is the TV mounted? A: There is a hidden drywall box that was built out to keep the TV toward the front of the wall. **Q: How did you vent the firplace?** *(in Photo Questions)* Great overall look but am curious as to how the fireplace is vented. A: This is an electric fireplace so there is no need for venting. Some fireplace companies also manufacture gas fireplaces that are vent free.
