> Cascade did an incredible job with our flooring and home bar project, transforming unused space into a functional retreat for grown-ups. We will be using them again for a more extensive remodel of our kitchen early 2017. Their work and attention to detail can't be beat.

> We hired Cascade Contracting to remodel our kitchen. The team leaders and work crews were very professional and friendly. Quality of the work was excellent. I never saw the appeal of custom cabinets until I saw the finished product installed. They listened to our design ideas and provided helpful input. They were conscious of our budget. We purchased our appliances directly from a dealer that works with contractors, and when our stove did not arrive in a timely fashion, Dennis was very quick to advocate for us. The only issue we had was the delay in the project after demolition. We left for a 1-week family vacation, and when we returned, it appeared that very little progress had been made since we left. I understand that delays happen, but I wish the communication about the delay had been better.

> Cascade Contracting recently updated and refaced our kitchen cabinets. They were extremely helpful in advising us on the different options of wood and stain colors for our project. The kitchen is beautiful and was done on time (or a day or two early). The crew was on time, respectful and super nice to us and our kids. Adam and Dennis are great to work with.

> We have worked with Adam & Dennis of Cascade Contracting on two projects & would recommend them. They renovated our kitchen several years ago & bathrooms along with some other basement upgrades most recently. They took extra time to help us come up with great solutions for problem areas, common in older homes. They are thorough & very knowledgeable & their custom cabinetry is very high quality. We have been pleased with the experiences & end result!

> Cascade has done a few jobs for us over the years, the biggest being a kitchen remodel with a build-out that took about 4 months to complete. They took our old kitchen down to the studs, added a complicated extension to our foundation, and built it all back up into a showcase of a kitchen that still has people fawning over it when they come into the house.
>
> From the beginning of the project, the folks at Cascade were entirely professional, thorough in their discovery and on target with their estimates. We knew exactly what was going to be done and when and were kept apprised of delivery issues that might affect the schedule. In places where we were flexible--or not finished--in our choices (countertops, sinks, tile, etc.), Cascade was helpful in coming up with places for us to look for distinctive options, but we never felt that we were being pushed in any direction. It was clear that they wanted to build the kitchen we wanted, and would do it as efficiently and hassle-free as possible.
>
> The thing that impresses us most is the dedication of everyone at Cascade to their work; they truly seem to enjoy what they do, and they pay attention to those little things that turn a remodel project from good to great.
>
> The best thing I can say about Cascade is that if I were to do a remodel project in the future, they would be the first place I would go.

**★★★★★ — Kari Hay, Oct. 2015**

> They dealt with lead, asbestos, a surprise federal EPA inspection (and all paperwork was in order because they are that good), design changes, IKEA cabinets (even though they are REALLY GOOD at custom cabs), structural beams, and our kitchen gets nothing but compliments. They steered us when we were uncertain, and never a wrong choice.
>
> Would hire them again.

> Cascade Contracting was seamless in its ability to execute our plans in building our new home. The project was a complete rebuild (4 BR, 2.5 BA) in Southwest Portland. Dennis, Adam and their team were professional, insightful and incredibly enthusiastic about helping us realize this dream. When we splurged on a few selections, they had great suggestions and recommendations to help us remain within our overall budget. Additionally, they delivered this sizeable project on time.
>
> Thanks Cascade!

> We had the pleasure of working with Adam and Dennis in custom building our new home. There were a lot of details to the project that they paid great attention to getting just right for us. We've made many recommendations to friends based on our experience. Cascade
> Contracting takes the time to get it done right, from the bid and financial paperwork, to the tile layout and trim installation. Adam, Dennis, and their crew exceed expectations, which is rare in a contractor these days.

> I would highly recommend Cascade Contracting, because of their knowledge and quality of work , they will show you the way to the best design for your home.

**★★★★★ — Guggenheim Architecture + Design Studio, Sept. 2015**

> We have had the opportunity to work with Cascade on many projects of various scales and styles. Adam's and Dennis' attention to detail and positive attitudes make for a pleasurable construction process and a great finished product. Based on our past experiences, we would definitely recommend them for projects both large and small.

  - Description: The Naekel’s have a beautiful 1911 home with the typical closed in kitchen for that era. We opening up the wall to the dining room with a new structural beam, added a half bath for the main floor and went to work on a gorgeous kitchen that was mix of a period look with modern flair touches to give them an open floor plan, perfect for entertaining and gourmet cooking.

  - Description: The Harts didn't have to go far to find the lot for their new home, it was right across the street. Loving the neighborhood, they bought the house right outside their front door. We leveled the home to the subfloor, saving tens of thousands of dollars in city permit costs by being able to call it a "remodel". We had a blast working with the Harts to design and select materials for the new transitional style home. Many of the elements that went into the home were centered around entertaining. Fro…

  - Description: Simple and elegant was the theme. We did a small addition off the master bedroom for a new bathroom. The shower base has a low profile curb for a streamlined modern look. Take note of the grain patterns of the walnut vanity. The grain runs together through every door and drawer front. This can take some planning on the cabinet makers part. Some people notice this and other do not, but it looks pretty damn cool.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Can you tell me the name of the gray subway backsplash** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Bliss 3 X 12 glass tile, color is smoke

**Q: What is the backsplash? Backlit glass??** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Close, it's back painted glass with under cabinet lighting

**Q: Unique surface- what is it!?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love this unique vanity surface. What's the material, please?

A: The countertop is a precast concrete with a polished surface. The broken edge look is created with a mold form. For a fun effect we stamped sea shells in it to create a fossil look.
