Best, Paul **Q: Lighting in Crown** *(in Photo Questions)* Hi - what kind of lighting did you use in the crown molding, and what is the gap between the ceiling and the molding? A: Hi, We used an RGB LED tape light system from SuperBrightLED.com powered by remote transformers and controlled via wall switch and hand-held dimmer/color controller. The space between the top of the crown and the ceiling is 1". Its important to note that when doing cove light work like this that the finish of the ceiling must be just about perfectly flat in order to look good because the light cast across it will show everything. You'll want to have your drywall finisher finish the ceiling to what is known as a Level 5 finish.
