KISMET TILE, designed by Tracey Reinberg, offers beautiful tile and surfacing materials in suprising and original designs.  Our cement tile is made in Mexico using the highest-quality pigments, and our ceramic tile is made with the 'cuerda-seca' technique--much like a classic Malibu tile, but to very contemporary effect.  We are also soon introducing tesselated glass and porcelain mosaic designs as well as some new pool and spa options.

**Q: would this tile be suitable for a pool application?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi--no, this would not be a good choice for pool application for a number of reasons--one being the underlying bisque is too absorbent and another being that this is a reactive glaze, so would react badly with the pool chemicals.
