> Useless. Unprofessional. Irrelevant. After multiple calls, emails, promises to get back with a quote for a bathroom vanity, yes, a VANITY (a small job), crickets. I lost two weeks of time for an impending remodel that had I been told simply, sorry, too busy, can’t do it, I could have gone elsewhere. I would definitely go elsewhere and save yourself time and aggravation.

> Jim Lockhart is the owner of JG&L.  He completed four projects for me and during the last one, my wood flooring was damaged by his workmen.  Jim said I should have the flooring repaired and that he would take care of it, including filing with his insurance company for the costs.  The repair job came in higher than expected.  Jim refused to fully compensate for the damage caused by his company.  I would never use him again as he does not stand by his word.  Character is everything to me and he sadly he is lacking in this important trait.

> The damage consisted of scratches on 11 boards. We spoke to the flooring company for a quote to replace the damage which we agreed to pay. Marilyn had the flooring company replace the entire floor which we never agreed to. The damage caused was real and we paid for the original quote to replace the damage.

Jim Lockhart is a very talented designer and a joy to work with, most of the work was prefabricated in their warehouse, thereby minimizing the installation on-site, and the crew that did the installation could not have been more professional.  Dave, in particular, was particularly impressive insofar as the installation and made another trip to our home when a question arose.  We cannot find even a small flaw in their workmanship and their customer service is superior.  They are not the cheapest but I am firmly convinced that they are the best and well worth the difference.

> JG&L did a masterful job of design, construction, and installation of our bar and library.  We wanted the pieces to look like furniture and JG&L did not disappoint.  Others we talked to asked "what are you looking for?"  Jim asked us "how do you want to use the space?"  Then he masterly probed and proposed.  What we ended up with met and exceeded all of our expectations.  To top it all off, Jim never said "that can't be done."  He would suggest what it was not the best idea, and what we might want to consider instead.  He came with creative solutions vs. negative pushback on our ideas.  JG&L are master designers and cabinet craftsmen.  if you are looking for high quality custom designed cabinetry, I would highly recommend JG&L.
