**★★★★★ — stevehatzis, Nov. 2014**

> Erich is an extraordinary architect and designer. Those who have been through the process of selecting land and building a home from scratch know how grueling the process can be. Erich made the design component of my project a real pleasure. He was prepared, a great listener and his guidance was always spot on (he saved me from myself more than once!). Ultimately, I believe the best judge of performance on a project like the construction of a new home or a remodel is, would you use that supplier again? There's absolutely no question that with Erich and Evolve I would.

**★★★★★ — Split Rock, Aug. 2014**

> We couldn't be happier with the home that Erich designed for us. A consummate professional, invaluable partner and steadfast advocate during every step of the process. Erich gets our highest recommendation. But don't take our word for it, search Houzz for "Split Rock Home" and judge for yourself. Thank you Erich!

## Community Q&A

**Q: what are the exterior paint color(s)** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Siding color was Sherwin Williams semi-transparent stain called "Baja Beige SW-3509'. Exterior trim was Olympic solid stain 'Copper Verde'.

**Q: Were you ever able to determine stone used in this lovely fireplace?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What a gorgeous home. A previous question asked about the stone used in this fireplace and you mentioned you would try to find more information. Were you able to find out what stone was used? Thanks so much!
Sara

A: Of course Sara. No problem. Thank you for your comments and best of luck with any projects you take on!

**Q: What can you tell me about the lovely wall art above the fireplace?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the material used? Where can I purchase this item or similar ones. Thanks in advance.

A: They are Chinese window screens that the owner purchased while on vacation abroad. I have seen similar ones in antiques stores specilaizing in Asian artifacts. Hope that helps.

**Q: Beautiful deck railing. Is it made out of ipe too?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for the comment. The deck rail is actually made out of smooth red cedar with a shaped profile to shed water.

**Q: What color is the wall paint?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Unfortunately, the wall color was selected by the Owner and I have no record of the color used. Sorry about that.

**Q: Love the paint. What paint colors did you use in the house?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for the comment. The wall color in this photo was Ben Moore's 'Affinity' series Hush AF-95 . Affinity is a great line as there are not too many choices and all colors complement each other in tone/ value of color. Whole house used Affinity paint in several colors. All wood timbers and millwork were douglas fir with a tung oil applied.
