Everyone on Kelly’s crew was very professional in their trade. They showed up on time everyday and worked weekends when necessary. The estimated time to complete our renovations was four months; all were completed on time and within budget. They did tongue in groove ceilings on our front porch and screened in porch, wrapped our front porch columns and had all the wood stained. The final portion was this weekend when Kelly Woodruff installed a full glas door going from our kitchen to the screen porch. He is amazing! The old door never had a good seal and this one is perfect! We won't have a cool breeze in the winter anymore!! Woodruff has done many projects for us from a complete master en suite to a door and we could not be happier! We also had to pay for a large amount of the materials. Overall, I was disappointed with the project. He charged us $5,000 for installing a travertine shower, yet his team wasn't able to install shelves in the shower that actually was symmetrical with the tile. But worse, we had the work inspected when selling the home and 2 items didn't pass inspection. One was their electrical work and the other was related to the fact that they vented a $5,000 shower into the attic instead of adding the necessary ductwork to route the moist air outside. When asked if he can make the changes to make his work pass inspection, Kelley asked for more money. I would have expected anyone taking on a $25,000+ job to at least pass inspection. Not only that, but Kelley has a very negative attitude towards his customers. He accused us of being "ugly" for challenging him when his work don't pass a basic home inspection. They added a sitting room to our bedroom, added square footage to our master closet and master bath and did a complete reno of the master bath. In addition to the master suite, they did our flooring for the entire house as well as the kitchen flooring and quartz countertops. They rebuilt columns on the front porch and put tongue in groove ceilings on both front porch and screen porch. They most recent project was adding shutters to all exterior windows. Consistently, they were on time, very conscientious of keeping the area clean and tidy, maintained a superior quality of work and also provided tremendous input with creative ideas for customizing the look of our space. What is the color and material of the decking?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, this deck did turn out great. The deck boards are a Fortress product, but I cannot recall the name of the color. Trex has a similar color in their Tropics Collection called Spiced Rum. The hand railing is all Trex, using Vintage Lantern post sleeves and top/bottom rails with square Black aluminum balusters. Notice the deck boards running in the opposite direction - we do this to give a clean look and it also allows us to maximize on the board lengths. I'd be happy to answer any more questions for you.
