> Purchased cabinets through Ferguson and they arrived chipped, missing, and late. And while we have all had opportunities to do better this company is lacking the quality it boast in its cabinets.
> Poor craftsmanship!
> Poor customer support!
> We spent our savings on our dream kitchen and buying from Ultracraft has become a nightmare. Please heed this and trust us when we say go elsewhere...you will be sorry....we are!

> I like my cabinets but the Ultracraft brand's parent company is very disappointing. My cabinets cost $35K. Unfortunately, my son tried to push down on the garbage and the pullout cabinet broke off its particle board backing when the screws broke from the particle board. I have fixed the board but need spacers to put it back in. The store I originally purchased my cabinets through went out of business, so I called two others. They told me to call Ultracraft directly. I called Ultracraft (Master Brands), they told me to call suppliers. So after 3 weeks I still have my garbage cabinet on my floor and a big gaping hole in my cabinetry because Ultracraft can't be bothered to send me new spacers. Literally $5 worth of material, but specialized to the product line so I can't just use an alternative. I can't express how annoyed I am with any company that doesn't stand behind its product and instead burden the customer. Don't be like me, buy your cabinets from a better line/company than Ultracraft/Norcraft... they don't stand behind their products.

> I never write reviews, but I thought it was important for anyone looking into new cabinets. I have had the UltraCarft Cabinets for my kitchen, and I must say they look beautiful and have many amazing features. The issue is the quality is just not there. The paint on the cabinets has started to peel, crack, and bubble. We have called Ultracraft many times to get this rectified, and their customer service is awful. Their big thing is blaming the issue on the customer, saying these defects will only occur due to heat, moisture, and water damage, which conveniently is not covered by the warranty. They keep saying there must be too much moisture and heat in our kitchen. The last time I checked, cabinets should be made to withstand some moisture and heat as it is in the kitchen! I would say this, if you want nice-looking cabinets and do not plan on using your kitchen at all these will probably be fine. If you cook every night I would strongly suggest you avoid these cabinets and this company.

> At the start of 2023 we decided that it was time for a new kitchen. We selected Ultracraft Cabinets because they had the door styles that we wanted. We began working with a designer and they assured us that Ultracraft was a reputable company that produced quality cabinets. We place our order on June 6th, 2023.
>
> Our Cabinets were delivered on Sept 8th which was about 9 weeks which we felt was not out of line for ordering a kitchen this large. We were instructed by our design professional to unbox the cabinets, inspect them and notify them of any problems. We found more than half of our order had issues. We were very particular in inspecting the shipping boxes when we found a damaged unit to verify that the damage did occur at the factory prior to boxing. There were cabinets that had finger prints sealed in the finish, dovetail joinery that did not align, cracked door panels, sloppy assembly, glue globs exposed to view, the list goes on and on.
>
> With that being said, much to UltraCrafts credit, their representative did come to the house to verify that all of the problems mentioned above were legit. Once that process was complete, they reordered the damaged items at no cost to us. As it should be. At the time of the site visit, we were told that since this was a "warranty" issue that we would have our replacements within 3-4 weeks and they would go thru and extra level of quality control.
>
> On Nov 1st, we received our replacement cabinets. As we began unboxing the replacement cabinets, we discovered that 50% or more had the same issues as mentioned above. In addition to finish issues, there were cabinets that were the wrong size (15" deep in lieu of 24"), cabinets drilled for adjustable shelving instead of roll outs, and cabinets that were not finished with the correct color of stain. It was very clear there was no extra level of quality control as promised.
>
> So, for a second time, we had the sales manager come to the house and view the problems with the replacements. We went thru all of the replacements, made notes and took pictures. A couple days later, the manager contacted us and informed us that he spoke directly to management at Ultracraft headquarters and they assured him this next round of cabinets would be correct and made a priority. It is Dec 12th now and we are 14 weeks beyond the initial delivery with no replacements and no kitchen. We were also informed the 2 cabinets are back ordered with no ship date yet.
>
> We spent nearly $58,000 just in cabinets on this project and feel the level of quality is something you would find with $10,000 cabinets. It is clear that we made a huge mistake selecting UltraCraft. Had we known back on Sept 8th that 14 weeks later we would still not have a kitchen, we would have requested a refund and went with a different brand. Moreover, there has been zero effort by Ultracraft to compensate us for the project delays. Our best advice is to stay as far away as possible.

> Wish we did more research before using Ultracraft.
> Last year, the entire first round delivered had to be re-made due to damage on every door, and took months with no prioritization. Then over half of those delivered on the second round have damage.
> Cabinet representative came by upon 2nd delivery and said we had ‘higher expectations’ then most people.
> Cabinets were warped, had no coating of paint and can see wood underneath, dents, peeling paint, incorrect sizes, chamfered edges vary from door to door, etc. Everything also stains as if there is no protective finish.
> We are still waiting on multiple damaged cabinet panels to be replaced.
> If you already ordered Ultracraft cabinets, inspect right out of the box and refuse the install before they go in. Otherwise, you will have to fight to get them replaced. Ultracraft will not do anything for you (and do not buy into the ‘100 year warranty’ as we were told that is only if the panels ever become disjointed). They have considered the attached photos as ‘acceptable’.
> We have proceed with next steps to recover our losses.

> Ultracraft has been a great performer for my jobs designed & sold in 2023! Finish is top notch, beautifully made, and arrive on site with low incidence of damages. Designing with Ultracraft makes my life easier. My clients that choose Ultracraft are happy & that keeps me happy!!

> 7 months and still waiting for UltraCraft to get my order correct for 1 kitchen. Everytime they mess up the order, I contact the place I ordered the cabinets from. Everytime the order gets delivered, there is ALWAYS a screw up. Three times so far. No apology from them...no nothing..
> wrong color...no doors....no glaze on the doors....and yet they pieces that are wrong, STILL come back WRONG!!!
> I WOULD DEFINITELY "NOT" RECOMMEND

> Avoid. Based even just on Houzz reviews it appears something went really wrong at Ultracraft over the last 5 years. Our experience reflects the most recent reviews here: poor quality manufacturing, poor overall design, cheap material, material sent with paint chips, wrong items shipped, items prone to immediate paint chipping, massive delays in production and shipping of new or replacement parts, including paint to cover chips. When I began my project over a year ago, I chose Ultracraft assuming most cabinet makers at Ultracraft’s price point are created equal. I learned the hard way they are not. I don’t usually write negative reviews but if I can help save just one person thousands of dollars, I feel like I’m doing some good. Homeowners: caveat emptor or just shop elsewhere.

> When I tell you this company has made our custom build project an absolute nightmare, I’m not exaggerating. We constructed a main home and guest home which resulted in an order of cabinets for two, large kitchens, a butler pantry, and 4 full bathrooms (thank GOD we didn’t use cabinetry in our half bath). Needless to say, our cabinet budget was substantial. The problem with this company is not just quality control but also their obvious lack of care to remedy issues. Our initial order included damaged, discolored, and low quality finish work as well as half our guest home kitchen cabinet fronts being completely wrong. When cabinets were re-ordered, the quality and color issues were even worse. We’re now at 16 months since our cabinets were ordered and STILL don’t have a completed project due to continual color, quality, and delay issues. We are shocked at how little this company cares as well. Their rep Danielle came out to the home and did not take any responsibility for the mistakes and excused the poor quality as “variations in wood.” Variations in wood doesn’t result in completely different stain colors on cabinetry, white filmy spots, sheen inconsistency, etc. Even our painted cabinetry was inconsistent in color from door front to door front. Unreal. We’re at a complete loss as to how this even got past their quality control department and made it to install. They’ve held up our entire build and cost us thousands of dollars on top of the THOUSANDS we spent on their subpar product. Given that they require full payment BEFORE installation, there’s little we’ve been able to do to remedy our specific situation. All I feel I can do now is warn others to stay away. It’s likely we’ll have to completely replace the horrible work Ultracraft has done in our home in order to fully make things right. Please be warned. They’ve made our Nashville dream home an utter nightmare and soured the entire experience.

> END RESULT: BAD QUALITY, BAD PROCESS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
>
> I NEVER write reviews but what Ultracraft has provided in the way of quality and craftsmanship is so very bad that I feel I have to warn people. We ordered our cabinets in July and waited until January for delivery. We ordered cabinetry in a custom dark color. What we received was the opposite of high quality. The following represented some of the issues:
>
> \- Some areas only had a very thin layer of pain in that you could see the tan color underneath
> \- Every single door was damaged due and nicked in that you could see the light color wood underneath
> \- The edges and corners did not have paint on them
> \- \*\*\*\*The pull out drawers inside the cabinets were not level and installed on an angle\*\*\*
>
> I highlight the last one because it is so egregious. If you thought I was exaggerating, this one should jump out at you.
>
> Ultracraft sent a rep out to my home to review what we received. Please keep in mind that we received the cabinets a month after the date we were updated in the system for delivery so our project had started assuming the month before date. The rep came out and a week and a half later we still do not have an update as to when they will be remediated.
>
> I have no kitchen, no appliances, nothing.
>
> I called customer service of Ultracraft to see if my remediation was even in the system a week after the rep was at my house and the customer service representative said they don't see anything and would call me by close of business with an update.
>
> I never heard.
>
> I called the next day and was told this wasn't their process to talk to me. At this point, I got very angry and asked them is it there process to deliver such poor quality? We have established they don't follow their processes anyway so don't tell me their process isn't to talk to the customer.
>
> END RESULT: BAD QUALITY, BAD PROCESS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

**★ — J M, Dec. 2021**

> Stay away - believe the bad reviews. Our rep tried to blame the installer and the installer tried to blame the rep, but bottom line, all cabinets arrived with damage and all many fell apart with bad glue jobs - yes glue, they don't use dowels. on top of that things arrived in the wrong size and they won't replace with the correct size - so, for example, the island has paneling that is different sizes and is off by more than 1/4 of an inch.
