## Community Q&A

**Q: height of wall mounted faucet with vessel sink?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

hi there, we are building a new house and in our powder room we will have suspended cabinetry with a vessel sink.  most of our cabinetry will be a little higher than standard height at 36" because we feel it will be more comfortable on our backs.   however, in our powder room we have a 5.5" tall vessel sink.  we were thinking about having the cabinet counter height sit at 33.5" as the rough-in for the wall mounted faucet is centered at 44.5".  This leaves around 11" between the countertop and the center of the rough-in.  Our cabinet makers mentioned they thought the faucet and cabinet was too high. see attached drawing.  what do you think, houzzers?

A: I guess its a late respond, but I was searching for same solution as all vanity in the house I'm remodeling for my client are 36" high, with vessel sink and wall mount faucet I lowered my vanity to 30" and faucet rough in at 41" centered off the floor. I wonder how did it worked out for you with set up you were doing at 44" centered?
