They will be worth their weight in gold and more likely platinum. Specifically without Heather from Redeux Decor our complete renovation (kitchen, laundry/pantry room, living room and three bathroom) may have turned out out, or maybe been somewhat of a disaster, but not the perfect/spectacular remodel that it did. To be specific, Heather helped with the concept of the plan, very nicely and not forcefully steered me away from bad (and I mean BAD) choices, directed when needed to the places to pick products, the overall design and worked very closely with the contractor. There is nothing in my "new" house that I dont love and I can truely say that is because of Heather from Redeux decor and Dave Wood of Mountain Wood construction (and all his amazing subcontractors). She is very reasonably priced (I think she should charge more), and is very sensitive to what the budge/costs of things are. A few other little thoughts, Heather is incredible punctual, not at all bossy but gently directive and really just a lot of fun to work with I think because she is so good at what she does. But I also have a job, three kids and husband who travels way too much so the onus fell on my shoulders to pull this house together. After so many months, I caved and asked for help. The millions of decisions, spacing, configuration, design and trying to make our house look like something more than a hodge-podge of my crazy ideas proved to be too much. Insert Redeux Decor and Heather "Master-mind" McGregor. She sat with us for a few hours, getting a sense of the most important aspects of our home, our design aesthetic and most important to me, our budget. She came to our home, held my hand when I needed it, narrowed down choices, spoke "builder" to our GC for me when I couldn't understand the lingo, reigned me in when I wanted to go too crazy, let me loose when I wanted our house to be our unique place, sourced unbelievable steals and deals, knew dimensions and heights, walked through our home with us umpteen times, and was truly the best part of building our house. Our house is now our home, it's distinctive yet cohesive, budgeted but looks luxurious. We had a lot of our own ideas for the place but I know if we had gone at it alone, it would never have turned out as wonderful as it did with Heather's expertise and guidance. A: the shiplap paint is White Dove by Benjamin Moore and the walls are Muslin by Ralph Lauren (I think, the client already had the paint) **Q: Hardwood Floors** *(in Photo Questions)* Can you tell me what stain color was used and what wood species this is? Thanks so much! beautiful! A: The floors are oak, I believe. The stain is more of a clear coat to show the natural wood tones.
