Ryan patiently worked with us to revise the project until we found that balance of budget and the need to COMPLETELY redo our mess of a back yard. The scope of the work involved replacing an aging wall, creating two terraced lawn areas and a fire pit area as well as over 20 stairs to ascend the new yard. His team was very professional and listened to our input and handled revisions with grace. Our satisfaction really mattered to them and they took a lot of pride in their work. We solicited a few bids for this project and JR's pricing was in the middle of the pack, but included a lot of extras compared to the other bids. The only cost overruns were self-inflicted when we decided the stairs looked so good in the back yard that we needed to replace the ones in the side yard to match. Overall, very pleased. We took an existing water feature that had been installed incorrectly and re-worked it to be more appropriate for the space. We also added a small fire pit and different patio areas. Ryan was great in finding new flagstone that closely matched the existing. They cleaned the old and integrated the new and the old stone so the updated patios were consistent and seamless.
