> About six years my husband Steve and I decided to update our family room. We couldn't decide on the right furniture and color scheme for our room. We agreed to look in the phone book for an interior designer. We thought this person could help us answer the questions to get started. Being that we live on Amsdell Road and down from Carol Schaper, we gave her a call. First we talked to her kind, friendly and helpful staff, then we met with Carol at our house. She listened to our ideas and never made us feel inadequate at decorating. When Carol gave suggestions she first made sure we had a say before anything was implemented. Her ideas from color, to furniture, to curtains to decor, creatively expressed what we wanted. Carol has a tremendous amount of professionalism and expertise. She is very personable, has great ideas, and had some unique ideas, we could have never achieved without her help. Six years later and we still enjoy walking into our warm, beautiful, family room. We  highly recommend Carol Schaper Interiors. As a matter of fact, we recently called Carol back to help with our kitchen and dining room. We look forward to working with her again to creatively assist us in transforming these rooms.

**Q: where can I find the couch & ottomans?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They are from an American made company, Younger Furniture, only available through interior designers.

**Q: What is the name of the aqua and yellow striped upholstery - pretty!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thank you.  It was a pretty fabric.  However, this was from a show house and I don't have a record of what we used.

**Q: Love the Upper Wall** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is the upper wall painted or is it wallpaper?

A: This is actually a faux finish created by local decorative painters The Kat's Meow.
I have it duplicated in a project in Western New York also.  Any good decorative painter could probably do it.

**Q: What is the color on the walls and brand?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for asking.  Wish I could help you, but this color was put on by the builder and he is no longer in business.

**Q: What is the wood flooring mfgr and color name?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This project was the complete renovation and remodeling of a 1950's ranch and these are the original floors which we had refinished and left natural.  They really turned out beautiful.  I am not sure what the species of wood is.
