> I cannot say enough about Austin Deck Company! We recieved a few proposals from a few other contractors and no one else compared to the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and quality that Walker and Austin Deck Company promised. From start to finish Austin Deck and their installers were the gold standard of craftsmanship and professionalism and were attentive to and followed through on every desire that we had in our deck replacement! I would 100% refer and use Austin Deck Company again and again!!!

> This company was recommended by someone in our neighborhood Facebook group, and I'm so glad I called them. Everything about working with the designer, the professionals who built the deck, communications about small details was well and promptly done. Highly recommend this company for a job beautifully completed, as promised.

> My house included an almost storey-high deck sitting on the backyard whose ground sloped away toward the back fence. Facing the Texas sun in the West, the deck was worn out despite my attempt to maintain it. Originally, I just wanted to fix what was broken: sagging stairway and rotten deck boards. After talking to more than a dozen contractors, I learned that I needed to do more than just fixing my deck, because the deck was part of the structure of my house. Without the deck, the ground floor of my house is almost six-foot from the ground.
>
> Out of the three final candidates, I chose Austin Deck Company for its detailed contract, great communication, and professional service. The contract include details such as size and number of post, materials to be used, and size of stair way. During the selection process, Austin Deck Company answered all my questions which spanned almost three-month time.
>
> In the end, I decided to replace the deck because of my concerns about its safety. Although the price of my deck wasn't the cheapest among all bids, its final quality speaks by itself. Albeit the project involved two subcontractors, one for the metal rail and another for the debris cleanup, the project was completed as planned and all debris were removed prior to the project completion. I was so impressed and appreciate for the workmanship and professionalism of Austin Deck Company. In particular, Abe, Rick, and Steve.
>
> If your project needs deck work, then check with the Austin Deck Company. I highly recommend it based on my personal experience in November 2015.

> The Austin Deck Company took our sketches and designed and built a beautiful deck across the back of our new house. My wife and I had visited TimberTown in Pflugerville to look at decking materials and had settled on the Timber Tech, Legacy Series in Mocha. It’s a composite material that looks like hardwood. The Austin Deck Company worked with us to determine the overall dimensions, layout of the boards, and to design a unique set of extra wide steps down onto the lawn. Then they built the structure; I think it may be the most well-built structure on our property. The TimberTech decking was secured perfectly with almost zero fasteners visible. They built the deck to perfectly tie into our existing covered patio, and exactly matched our existing steel railing to carry the patio almost seamlessly onto and across the deck. It looks like it was designed and built with the house. We enjoy time and meals out there almost daily, and haven’t had a single problem yet; it still looks great.

> Abe from Austin Deck Company has demonstrated his knowledge of structures through our numerous communications regarding our solar pergola project. He has provided a 3D rendering of his design, he has worked with our solar company (Freedom Solar), he has sorted out permitting issues with the City of Cedar Park, and he used a structural engineer right away to verify that his proposed design will work with the solar system that will be supported by the pergola. I can tax the patience of many contractors because I'm an engineer who thrives on numbers and details, but Abe has always been responsive and is quick to give me as detailed an explanation upon request. Even though some other contractors had slightly lower prices, Abe gave me the greatest confidence that I'd receive a top quality product. I can't wait to get both shade and solar power from my new pergola!

> We hired Austin Deck Company to build a pergola for us. The crew was professional and courteous and fast!! We are very happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone. They also helped us work with a very picky neighborhood association to get approval for this add-on. They made our lives easier with everything!

> Austin Deck did an outstanding job rebuilding our two wood decks using "trex" decking. From their reasonable estimate, good plan, quality, workmanship, attention to detail, courteous attribute and communication skills, they delivered the complete package--and without exceeding the estimate. They did a great job.

> Very impressed with the workmanship and design skills employed by everyone at Austin Deck Company! My Wife and I could not be any happier with the finished product. Abe and his Team were very, very meticulous with all of the details to ensure that the end result was nothing short of perfect. We are very thankful and highly recommend their services!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Who makes the railing?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: We do - Thanks for asking! Please let us know if we can help with your project

**Q: Deck materials** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the deck material and the color? Is the handrail top the same material?

Thanks

A: The decking is all Tigerwood with stainless steel finish screws. The rail cap is 2x6" red western cedar, which matches the fascia, and deck support posts.
