### Reviews

**★★★★★ — V, Oct. 2017**

> I had been dreaming about MY screened in porch (SheCave) for 10 years. I interviewed 3 contractors and while I had sticker shock $$$ for the job I wanted; I think ADB came in with the most real estimate. Of course, I did a couple of sweet add ons like shiplap around the fireplace surround and huge black brackets on the inside wall beams. It turned out beautiful! I am very happy and will use them again soon, I hope, for an Arbor over my eating area.
> They job completed on time and the crew was respectful of our home. Top Notch!

**★★★★★ — Kathy Jones, April 2017**

> We are very happy with the sunroom and deck that Atlanta Design & Build added to our home. They were able to bring our ideas and suggestions to fruition. Everyone from Dale to Dave, Bobby and the crew were very professional and respectful of our property. The high-quality of construction and attention to detail has given us exactly what we envisioned. Could not be more satisified with how it all turned out.

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> Thank you for your comments, Kathy. Your addition and deck are gorgeous and we are pleased you are so thrilled. It was a pleasure working with you on your home transformation! Thanks for being a part of the ADB Family.

**★★★★★ — The Counterpoint Group, Inc, June 2016**

> Atlanta Design & Build hired The Counterpoint Group to help with the kitchen design and cabinetry on a recent remodeling project, which involved several rooms in the home. We met with the client and helped to create a design that worked out very well. Atlanta Design & Build is a company driven by quality. The owner, Dale Contant, who is now the president of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, is a true professional. The entire team was a pleasure to work for. The client is very pleased with Atlanta Design & Build and the overall project.

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> Thank you guys for the great review! We truly enjoy working with you and look forward to many more opportunities for collaboration in the future.

**★★★★ — travelbugs3, March 2016**

> We quickly established a personal as well as a professional relationship with Atlanta Design and Build. It was clear that Dale and Steven were interested in giving us what we wanted, not what they wanted for us. They listened, they answered our every question, they gave us their professional opinions, they went the extra mile for us, they gave us great value and top quality. They turned our thirty year old, dog-eared house into a show piece.

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> Thank you again for the kind words and for taking the time to leave us a review... we're so pleased that you're satisfied with the finished product!

**★★★★★ — jwaynen, Dec. 2015**

> The contractor performed a whole house renovation of a 30 year old 5200 sq. ft. 3 level house. The scope of work included design through construction. All work was performed to the highest quality standards with the builder assuring that work was done to the highest standard regardless of whether the owner performed inspections of the work or not. The builder also anticipated owners needs and made suggestions and modifications to scope accordingly. The contractor provided advice and consultation regarding selection of building materials and the appropriateness of the selections with the overall design of the house and current design trends. Contractor kept the homeowner apprised of cost versus budget status and of cost versus building contract allowance status.

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> We are so proud of your beautiful renovation.
> It was a pleasure working with you.

> I have never used this firm except I did pay them $1500. for a room addition plan and cost estimate for a proposed room addition. Their plan was just a basic add-on but their quote was really high end. So high in fact, I ask some fellow real estate people look it over and everyone generally agreed the proposal was priced so high because they did not want the project (or was going to sub-let the job). I paid them $1500. as agreed and refused this company's bid and have not had contact since (a few years).

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> As professionals, we try our best to provide a complete and clear concept of the outcome of the project, in order to avoid misunderstandings and potential costly mistakes for the client. Occasionally, the scope of work and subsequent project cost exceeds the client’s expectations. My Atlanta Design & Build Team and I would have loved nothing more than to have completed this project, but as noted in this review, the quoted price for our work was not one that this potential client felt comfortable paying. We take pride in our team of qualified individuals and we stand behind our work's value to be that of excellence.
>
> If you love our custom designs and projects, have read all our reviews and this one made you hesitate to contact us, we understand and are disappointed that such damage can be done on social media. We will gladly offer you contacts that you may reach out to personally. We can walk you through our renovated homes so you can see the results of our completed projects. Thank you for being a part of this community that we love. We hope to meet you soon!

> We hired Dale's firm to build a second garage that looks like a carriage house, and has a basement due to the slope of the lot. He and his employees are wonderful and the project went without any problems...that was 10 years ago and we love it to date. Then about six years ago we hired him to dormer out our second floor attic to make a exercise room and enhance the looks of the front of our house. Again, love it and enjoy it each day. I would recommend his company over any other I've worked with or know. I'm a designer - so that says a lot. Beverly and George

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> We have enjoyed working with you over the years! Your projects are stunning and we are grateful for your repeat trust in our company. Thank you for taking time to write a review, and also for your kind words of recommendation.

**★★★★★ — koneill317, Feb. 2015**

> The project scope was extensive repair work due to interior wall/ceiling water damage from poor original construction techniques in attaching decks to house. Walls/ceilings were opened up on two levels supporting wall frames as well as ceiling beams had to be replaced. The decks were taken apart and rebuilt, leveled and sealed properly as well as tested thoroughly. The roof joint leak was sealed and tested thoroughly as well. The AD&B team were highly competent and experienced, they were careful to minimize the adjoining areas and their work appeared very precise. Although the 2nd phase of the project will start with window replacements in 6 weeks, all ares were closed up nicely and we have full utility of all the rooms in the interim. They were very professional, courteous, clean, friendly and consistently communicated with me every step of the way. They showed me the issues, discussed options, made recommendations and showed me the end results of their repairs for approval before it was closed in (much more involvement than I expected or perhaps needed - but I certainly appreciated it). They cleaned up every area they worked in thoroughly both during the day and at the end of each day, and protected all the floors and carpeting. They even closed off the work areas with temporary barriers to ensure any dust was contained. They fixed many other small items (ie door jams, furnace ducts, gutters, etc) as they went along - wherever they felt they could help out. I would highly recommend AD&B to anyone and definitely call them for any work in the future.

> This is our third experience with ADB and each time the experience is better than the last. In all three instances they have been 5 star! This time we are remodeling (as in completely gutting) our guest bath and our Master bath. To best serve our bathing needs, they are being done consecutively, first the guest and then our Master. The Guest bath is complete to 95% and it is beautifully done, Each of the subs have done an exceptional job -- electric, plumbing, heated floor, drywall & paint and tile! They have all been extremely careful in their work and respectful of our home, leaving it cleaned up and ready for the next step on the next day. Our project managaer has been in constant contact, has discussed each step and thoroughly prepared us for the next day. She has been available by phone, text and, most importantly in person, on-site. We could not be more pleased with the entire project and are looking forward to using our new Master bath -- if it is anything like our Guest bath, it will be perfect and a delight to use!

**★★★★★ — joellern, Sept. 2014**

> Atlanta Design & Build renovated our ouse prior to moving in. The did an excellent job, finished on time and under budget. We are very happy with the work! We recently had them return to update our deck and add a screened porch. We have several other projects down the road we plan on using them for as well. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a project!

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> Thank you so much for your high recommendation! We enjoyed working on this project with you and look forward to your projects to come.

**★★★★★ — Jennifer Prins, Sept. 2014**

> The staff at Atlanta Design & Build were professional and timely. They also did a great job of cleaning up the job site each day and communicating on the progress to our deck. My deck is now not only safe but beautiful again.

**Comment from Atlanta Design & Build:**

> Jennifer we have enjoyed working with you with this project and other items over the years. We value you as a client and friend, thank you for everything!

**★★★★★ — rcangeli, Sept. 2014**

> During the 4th Quarter of 2010, we finally determined that our 30+ year old, built in 1979, home would be our "Forever Home" We determined that we wanted a high quality contractor. Based on recommendations we received from another remodeler, We contacted ADB, and another contractor to schedule appointments for a consultation. On our first visit Dale Contant was able to describe the changes and upgrades to our home. After multiple positive meetings with Dale, and multiple reschedules from the other company, we signed a design contract with ADB. After several months of design and negotiation, we started the complete remodel of the interior of our home in January of 2011. We Served Easter Dinner in the new dining room prepared in the new kitchen. The project came in on time and on budget lt $4,000 over. The new home is working for us extremely well. and after almost 4 years we are still delighted with the outcome.
