Pl** *(in Design Dilemma)* Our master bedroom has 4 windows and a patio door. I'm am trying to plan my drapes and am torn between using one panel per window (feel like it would be overwhelming with 2 on such narrow windows and also the corners are tight) but also am unsure of whether I need to put a panel on the door as well? If I do hang a panel over the door does the rod need to be even with the windows or can it be a few inches higher? Initially was planning on hanging window panels about 6" from ceiling and the door frame is a little taller. I've attached photos. Please let me know what would look best and not rookie-like. Hoping to order my curtains today! (FYI- don't mind our dated and temporary furniture!) A: Roman Shades would be lovely on windows and door. **Q: Any advice for my kitchen remodel?** *(in Design Dilemma)* Trying to narrow down a direction for my kitchen backsplash while waiting for my cabinet doors to arrive. I have attached a few pictures with the kitchen in its current state. Please excuse all the mess and that ugly tan trim will be removed. It's just temporary. Also, because of the lighting, the countertops look darker than in real life. Currently, I am obsessing over herringbone backsplashes. I tried to be creative with paint to see how it would look with my countertops. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated. A: The herringbone would be beautiful! I also like white subway tile. Good Luck! **Q: Where could I purchase these barstools?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The barstools belonged to the client prior to me working in her home. I will touch base with her and see if I can find out for you. **Q: What color would You paint this room?** *(in Design Dilemma)* A: Are you keeping all furniture and bedding in picture? That would help determine what direction to go with color. I'm seeing a soft romantic color like Sherwin Williams Sea Salt. **Q: POLL: Rug size - Should furniture be on or off the rug?** *(in Polls)* First you have to find a rug you love. Next, you have to figure out what size you need. When choosing your size, do you think all the furniture need to fit on top of the rug? VOTE and tell us about it in the comments! A: The front legs of sofa/chairs should be on the rug. At least half under the bed. Huge mistake buying a rug to small.
