> I hired Eldridge company for my new home build and I am glad I did! Eldridge has a warm and welcoming staff ready to help you with all your selections to make the home of your dreams! I am more than happy with the outcome of my house and the customer service I was provided through Eldridge!

**★★★★★ — HU-268837801, Aug. 2022**

> After working with Eldridge on a couple signature projects, I’ve learned that they are a great partner that shepherds you through the process from start to finish…and beyond. I’m so impressed with their ability to help design, permit, manage, and construct, then follow up after the project is finished. This is an honest review and I will work with them again in the future for only my “special signature” projects. They are a great Louisville family business and they truly care about the communities they help build.

> After months of going back and forth with attorneys, we have found that the cost of repairs would be less than a mediation or litigation, so we have opted to just write a review to warn anyone of this company.
>
> We built a custom home with Eldridge that was completed way after schedule in November of 2019. The home is currently on their website as "Jasmine". We had communication issues the entire time with their team. We would often be in the dark about various projects, and to be honest, I think they were too.
>
> Fast forward 2.5 years and we still have many issues that we have to pay out of pocket to fix. We will list most of the issues below.
> 1)One of their contractors ran over our mailbox. They didn't think we would see and just pushed it back in the ground. It still is just shoved in the ground with scratches on the box itself.
> 2\) Every time I look up in the shower, I see multiple areas where the ceiling is cracked and paint peeling. We have multiple nail pops, one is completely popped through the drywall and you can see the black head of the screw. The ceiling in our beautiful kitchen is separating. There are a couple areas they fixed and did not match the paint, leaving a dark strip wear they repainted and a light wall everywhere else. There are multiple spots on the exterior where paint is peeling. The garage ceiling needs repainting and the stairs need re staining (both promised to us).
> 3\) There is an area on the stucco where you can see the indention the stairs have made in it. They have explicitly claimed that is not their problem as it wasn't reported in time, even though I reported it before the final warranty items were fixed and clearly a design/quality issue.
> 4\) There are LED lights they have installed in multiple areas of the home that do not work.
> 5\) They cracked the concrete on our patio and fixed it by putting a wood tile system on top to hide it. The wood tiles faded within a year and are falling apart. We paid $1600 already to fix that. There are a few cracks in our concrete, all supposedly acceptabel size and don't require repair.
> 6\) We had exterior lighting installed by them, they never finished the install. We had to pay a professional company to finish the install and add the appropriate amount of lights to adequately light the home.
> 7\) There is coping around the bas of our fire escape that they have replaced multiple times, it fell off again.
>
> Considering our experience with them, we will never do business with them again. We are proud to say that our friends have decided to use other builders with good experiences. We did not recommend Eldridge to them and will not to any in the future. We paid over $1.2 million for our home with all the extras and are saddened that this short list has to come out of pocket.
> Full disclosure: there were more items on the list that they did satisfy and they have attempted to fix some paint issues, but they little to no notice to when the painter is coming.

> My husband and I hired Eldridge Company to renovate our 1400 sq. ft. shotgun into a 4000 sq. ft. live/work space. From the get-go it was a complex and detailed project - parts of the original house were dilapidated, and our property is in a historic neighborhood in need of a totally custom renovation. We were impressed from day one when Eldridge took a good deal of time to present and explain their bid on our project. It was clear that transparency and communication were important values within the company. Beyond that - it was just nice to feel like they were "on our side" from start to finish in seeing our project through completion. Although this was our first experience with any contractor we know that poor communication is not unheard of in this industry. Eldridge Company kept us up-to-date on the status of permits and construction throughout. They did a fantastic job of thoroughly explaining the early construction that we weren't so familiar with so we felt confident in the work they were doing with the foundation, mechanicals, etc... We were also very impressed with the quality of the finished product. Specifically, their attention to visual detail is fantastic, and we loved how knowledgeable they were with modern products & design. Anytime that there was a miscommunication or discrepancy, they made sure things were corrected or addressed. They have worked to hammer out our final punch list after move-in to ensure we are 100% happy with their work. Moreover, we lived about 2 hours away from our project while it was under construction so when we were able to be on site they made it a priority to be there with us. We can't say enough about their level of quality, competence and overall service to us. We love our newly renovated property!!!!

> Eldridge Company helped us create the home of our dreams. Building a home is an exciting and sometimes stressful project, but Eldridge Company is committed to getting the job done to their customer’s complete satisfaction. We are so pleased, and we couldn’t imagine doing a house project with anyone else.

> My husband & I hired Eldridge Company for our home addition. They were wonderful to work with, very quick to respond to our concerns and willing to work with our ideas. I always felt like a priority. The whole process probably took a couple of months longer than we had hoped, but our result is perfection! I would totally hire them again.

**★★★★★ — JOOST GRUBBEN, Jan. 2019**

> Excellent work on a complex project that required a lot of "in the field" solutions. We wanted to upgrade an old and decrepit but beautifully shaped 1,100 square foot deck, but at the same time bring a modern touch to it. We ended with galvanized steel columns, a wood semi-triangular deck and steel tubular railing. It was finished as a "French bistro" with lighting and chairs. It fits perfectly with the design of the house.

**★★★★★ — Shane Shaps, Jan. 2019**

> i can't say enough great things about Eldridge Company. In 2013, we purchased a home built in 1994 . A lot of what the house had we loved, but much of it we knew needed work. The layout of the upstairs didn't quite make sense, and from a functional standpoint there were some insulation issues. With the design eye of Lee W. Robinson in collaboration with Eldridge, we ended up with a fantastic renovation/addition. Our kids love their new spaces. I appreciate the patience and kindness of everyone on the team - including the subcontractors.
>
> Look, anyone who thinks you won't run into issues when remodeling is wholeheartedly naive. But when we ran into such issues the Eldridge team worked through it with us and got creative to find solutions - and stay on budget. They are a great family business with an excellent team. I highly recommend them to build or remodel a project.

**★★★★★ — Jon P, Jan. 2019**

> I have worked with Eldridge Company on many projects. Their quality of work is among the best in Louisville. Professional, Detail Oriented, and Honest.

**★★★★★ — doclauralea, April 2017**

> We hired Eldridge Company in August 2016 to oversee several projects in our "new" 24-year-old home: creating a large (7') arched opening in a kitchen wall, converting a window to a back door, and building a large (20' x 19') covered deck/outdoor living area. Throughout the consultation, design, and building process, Christopher Eldridge displayed exemplary communication, attention to detail, and respect for us and our property. The end results of his company's handiwork were beyond superb and we gained a trusted friend and ally for future design/build reference. We have gladly referred multiple friends to Eldridge Company for their design and build needs and remain forever grateful to have worked with this jewel of a company filled with such caring individuals!
