> We have utilized Jackie, Tina, and team twice now - both times with fantastic results! I would highly recommend their services. For our second project, they not only got us the sealed architectural drawings but assisted with the design/finishes. They make "decision fatigue" a thing of the past.

**★★★★★ — riverastructural, Oct. 2016**

> I am a structural engineer who has been working with Jackie and Tina for years. I love their work. They are very oriented towards helping the client understand the process and leading them towards their exceptional final product. As an engineer, they are also very considerate of my needs during the process and are great to work with. I would highly recommend them for both city and suburban residential projects.

> We loved working with Jackie and Tina at inHabit Architecture and Design! They are collaborative, accessible, patient, and fun to work with – we highly recommend them!
> Our project started with a real fixer-upper of a rowhome, and inHabit Architecture designed and oversaw the gut renovation, from a full overhaul of the outdated systems through to exquisite kitchen and bathroom details.
>
> Jackie and Tina minimized construction costs by retaining most of original layout within the existing building envelope. They improved upon the building’s original design by introducing subtle changes to wall and window placements, creating living and storage space where it did not previously exist as well as new connections between indoors and out.
>
> During the design phase, Jackie and Tina listened carefully, helped us distill our personal taste, and integrated our ideas with their design expertise to customize each room. Throughout construction, they provided invaluable and trusted oversight. Jackie and Tina were onsite regularly to ensure that their design optimized functionality without ever compromising aesthetics. Now that we’ve moved in, the beautifully detailed, wonderfully comfortable and functional spaces that inHabit designed make us smile on a daily basis.
>
> Thank you, Jackie and Tina!

**★★★★★ — lodgeoddity, Dec. 2013**

> inHabit Architecture and Design did a complete redesign of my kitchen which included removing a large portion of a wall, and changing the flow of my house for the better. Upon request, Ms. Gusic provided numerous drawings, and explained the benefits of each. The thing that impressed me most was her presentation of the overall design in terms of a long-term strategy. The changes she suggested presented a very holistic view of living in our home as she considered things like sight lines, views, furniture placement, etc for the areas adjacent to the kitchen.

  - Description: InHabit was invited back into this stately Mainline home to reimagine the Primary Bathroom and Closet. The former rooms were consolidated and reimagined to offer a spa-like experience at home. The spacious Dressing Room offers ample storage, heated wood floors, and a built-in hair and makeup vanity. The connecting Bath was designed as a serene retreat with a cedar sauna, frosted glass partitions, and a generous soaking tub. Dolomite marble covers the walls and floors while mosaic glass tile high…

  - Description: A series of confining and claustrophobic small rooms were opened to create a light-filled and luxurious master bedroom, bath, and dressing closet suite in a Rittenhouse Square high-rise. The suite’s expansive south-facing windows were accentuated by removing soffits that obscured the view. Bright white cabinetry, gray-stained oak flooring, and Carrera marble reflect natural light while furniture and accents introduce vibrant color - deep purple in the drapes and dressing closet island, orange an…

  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 4
  - Description: Very dated 1970s-style bathrooms – think pink and cream color schemes and mosaic monograms – were in need of modernization in this traditional home in suburban Wynnewood. The client wanted to capitalize on abundant natural light with a neutral color palette and simple, sophisticated materials. In total, inHabit renovated three bathrooms with a similar emphasis on clean lines and calm design. A shared hall bath for the homeowners’ two grown children and a guest bath were updated with floating cus…

  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 4
  - Description: The renovation transformed a simple finished basement into warm and comfortable entertaining space for a family and its grown children. inHabit was challenged with unifying several different entertaining zones within the large, walk-out space that connects directly to an outdoor patio and pool. The design established a large seating area for football games and movie nights, pool table and card table areas, a bar, a home office, and a workout room. Primary areas are positioned closer to the on-gr…

- [Media Addition](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/media-addition-pj-vj~1485832)
  - Location: Media, PA
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: The 1960s split-level developer house had outdated interiors and confined spaces. The first task was to update the home’s proportions by raising the roof structure and expanding the front of the house with a slender addition. The exterior gained a more classic appearance and curb appeal, while improved space was provided on the interior. Multiple doors and walls were removed to change the small, enclosed kitchen and dining room into a wide-open space that connects to the adjacent family room. Th…
- [Brandywine St Carriage House](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/brandywine-st-carriage-house-pj-vj~547457)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: inHabit was hired to design a comprehensive millwork package for a carriage house renovation. The kitchen was designed as an integral part of the main loft living space. Most of the cabinetry is hidden in a sweeping boat-inspired island in order to leave sightlines clear between kitchen and living areas. A harmonious combination of natural finishes, painted surfaces, and exposed construction reflects the clients' eclectic style. The living area is flanked by bookcases on the two exterior walls.…
- [McCallum Transformation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/mccallum-transformation-pj-vj~865801)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 9
  - Description: When inHabit first visited this house on McCallum Street in Philadelphia's Mount Airy neighborhood, it was a series of small rooms that did not relate. The owners never even used their existing living room. What the McCallum Street house had in character (like beautiful built-ins and arched brick details) it lacked in flow. Small, enclosed rooms were cut off from one another. The layout didn't work for entertaining or daily life. inHabit transformed the house by taking down walls and creating a…
- [Media Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/media-kitchen-pj-vj~547451)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 5
  - Description: This project dramatically changed the living and kitchen areas of a ranch style house in Media, Pennsylvania. The house previously had a small worn-out kitchen, too large un-used Dining Room, and a small Living Room with a fireplace tucked into the corner. Through a rewarding and collaborative schematic process, inHabit and the client arrived at a scheme that opened up the three spaces into each other and created a circular flow. The kitchen was moved into the large room at the end of the house…
- [Washington West Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/washington-west-renovation-pj-vj~547440)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 10
  - Description: A two-phase renovation and addition dramatically changed a Washington Square West row house from a dated and segmented series of spaces to an open and light-filled home. The first phase of the project moved the kitchen from an enclosed space in the middle of the first floor into an open, airy space at the front of the house. An existing master bath was renovated and a new home office was carved out of an existing bedroom. Phase One allowed the client enough functional space to move in and prepar…
- [Pine Street Renovation](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/pine-street-renovation-pj-vj~1375599)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 11
  - Description: This 1960s row house in the heart of Philadelphia's Society Hill neighborhood needed a major pick-me-up after decades of neglect. inHabit came in with a full interior renovation that put the rooms back together while maintaining much of the home's original layout. One drastic change was a kitchen renovation: the wall dividing the original small kitchen from the dining area was removed to create a large and inviting space. Installing an expansive folding door wall captures southern sunlight at th…
