Average cat trees don't afford him adequate space to be comfortable. A: Hi, Thank you for your interest in our Trees! The dimensions are W 18" / D 28" / H 32" / 35 lb. The cradle size is 16" long and 13" across. This should be fine for your cat. I am attaching a picture of the Sprout with our cat Buster on it. Door to door? What kind of assembly for an old lady? A: Hi, sorry for this delayed response. I did not see the notification. The Sprout cost includes the shipping on HOUZZ. It is shipped via FedEx ground door to door. This tree comes fully assembled with the exception of the leaves. There will be yellow pegs in the pre-drilled holes. The foliage will be bundled in the box. We ship it this way to eliminate damage to the foliage. You pull out the peg and then put the foliage stem in. Repeat for the remainder of the pegs doing it one at a time. Keep the pegs in a bag for future use in case you take the leaves out to dust them off. this way you will see the hole and be able to put the leave stems back in easier. Will the tree die? Do I need to maintain the tree? A: Hi Jia, Thank you for your interest in our Trees! Yes, the tree is real but you do NOT have to water or maintain it. We harvest the trees from a forest, treat them for bugs, and then "cure" them for a minimum of 3 months. This curing process removes all of the moisture in the tree. This is why they are for indoor use only. After the moisture is removed, we can then start crafting the feline habitat with it. It's adorned with silk foliage that can be removed for easy cleaning/dusting and replaced as needed after the cats have played and climbed though it =^..^=.
