A budget was presented and she worked with us, understanding our need to stick to it with no “surprises.” The showroom had plenty of samples to consider as well as a computerized representation of our final design. Needless improvements and unnecessary upgrades never came up. > Tom assembled a top-notch skilled team of artisans who love their craft; Anthony, Damon, Oscar, Mike, Jose, electricians and plumbers and many others. They were considerate of our home and respected the fact that we had to live there during the project. We were pleased with the way they cleaned up daily. > The Kitchen Master’s use of the Buildertrend app afforded us a daily calendar of the work to be done and who would be at our home as well as a summary and photos of work completed on any specific day. Everyone was nice. However, when the project was done, I found few details about the quality. 1. The ceiling wasn’t painted with at list a primer, they said they don’t do that. So they left it unpainted. They cut some existing trimming but never replaced it nicely. It looks ugly until now. So when the whole project was done, Project Manager stop by for his final check and said to us, “the designer will stop by and will give you a chopping board for your new kitchen” , until this day we never heard from him( we don’t need the chopping), but we expected him to see the finished product, not even a phone call to this date. **★★★★★ — billandkaren3, July 2021** > We are beyond thrilled with our kitchen remodel from The Kitchen Master. First, our work with their designer Stacy was a joy. She is so creative, communicative, and detailed that she made the process comfortable and fun. And her ideas were amazing - took the rough plan we had in our heads and turned it into something gorgeous. When work started it was led by the project manager Tom. This guy knew everything about everything and was always on top of what was going on. Since we were both working from home he had to put up with a lot of our questions and live updates, and handled every one with class. The carpenters on the team, Anthony and Josh were always on time, always clean, always friendly and their work was perfect. Anthony led the demo - clean and efficient, while Josh did the bulk of our installations and finish work - and it was all perfect. I mean not the tiniest flaw. It's worth noting that all their sub's - Plumbing, Electric, Floor and especially Tile were all outstanding as well. Each did fantastic work, on time and way above expectations. Kudos to the owner Ted for finding and retaining such great talent. Our final product is a real show-piece, something we'll enjoy and be proud of for years. Our designer was Adam Hartig and he was comfortable to work with and gave us designs to fit within our price range. Our project manager was Tom Meyers. Tom showed up almost daily to coordinate with us and the builders and was easily reachable by phone. Anthony did most of the work on the house. He was courteous, personable, and clean. We felt comfortable having him in our home on a daily basis and the work he did was precise. Every company used by The Kitchen Master (floors, plumbing, electric, etc.) showed up when they were supposed to, worked hard, and left us with a product we could be proud of. We had them rework our master bathroom. We couldn't be more happy with the results and the five year warranty is something you just don't find anywhere else. > > Several years ago, our house caught fire by a lightning strike and to make a long story short, the builder hired to rebuild it came up short on the quality and workmanship side of things. My wife and I were not happy with the results they left us with, so we hired a different company to come in and "fix" the bath. I won't name them, but they were even worse than the builders we originally had. We've dealt with quite a few contractors over the years and unfortunately, most of them we were not happy with but Josh was terrific. A professional through and through, he had the knowledge to get the work done quickly and at a high level of quality. Everything that was done, all the tile work, the custom glass shower and the installation of our new vanity counter looks absolutely amazing. His attention to detail was remarkable and the work he did to get things done right, did not go unnoticed by us. Tom our project manager, always kept us up to date with scheduling the work, and was in constant contact with us to let us know what would happen with the job at any given time. He was a great point of contact and never failed to answer our questions and return our calls or emails. I worked with Anna for design, who came to the house and immediately pointed out all the little things I hated about my master bath before I could volunteer them. Both she, Tom (project manager) and everyone else I dealt with had great attention to detail, provided great design advise (because boy do I need it), and had excellent communication – available by email and phone, plus you can see day by day progress through their nifty web portal. Jobs were completed expediently, with basically zero punch list items. All around, just a really pleasant, zero stress experience, which was very important for me as I travel constantly for my job and needed someone doing the work that I didn’t feel like I needed to babysit. I was even confident and comfortable enough with their work that I went on an international vacation while my bathroom was being done! I can’t say that about any of the other people I’ve worked with in the house. Plus they went the extra mile to figure out how to deal with some unique materials in my townhouse (a weird subfloor that needed some special handling) and what had stymied other flooring companies in the past was a complete non-issue for these guys. > > So far I’ve had them replace my kitchen floor and all but gut my master bathroom, and I’ll absolutely use them again for the other bathroom in the house.
