**Q: Wood base dimensions** *(in Photo Questions)*

What are the dimensions for the wood bases that the belt and tie cleats (4 ea) are installed on?

A: Hi Julia, 

This image is quite old and we're not sure what the exact dimensions are of the wood base, our best estimate is that it is  6" x 30".

**Q: Laundry/mudroom layout** *(in Laundry Room)*

I am building a new home and need some help with laundry room layout. The room is 8.5' wide and 13.5' long. You enter the laundry from the garage and exit the laundry room to enter the kitchen. The builder will provide built in cubbies/lockers. I'm open to suggestions from you on how to arrange the room. I can't change the dimensions and I definitely want the door from the garage to enter this room prior to the rest of the home - I want it to be a mudroom and laundry room. The window at the bottom is on the front of the home on the front porch. Is like upper cabinets somewhere and would like to not be able to see the washer and dryer from the porch through the window. Thank you!

A: If possible, you could move the washer and dryer on the right wall and have cabinets above. If you are going to have a counter on top of those machines it could be used as an ironing/gift wrapping station as well. If not, create a counter that runs along the wall under the window as an ironing station, giving you a nice view of the front yard while you iron and fold your clothes! You could also create a window seat under the window for putting shoes on.

The left wall could have hooks at the top for coats and cubbies and baskets at the bottom for shoe storage.

I have a medium size room, that I need to make into a craft room with lots of storage. I prefer to have stock cabinets.
