She was able to pick the perfect colors to start the palette of our entire home. From there we went onto designing our custom kitchen, amazing bathrooms with custom tile and all floor coverings. From there we moved onto choosing a full house of furniture. Sharon has many strong skills as an interior designer, but I think her best skill is that she is a great listener. Because we were downsizing and essentially starting over from scratch it was all quite challenging for me. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted in this next stage of life and I was amazed that she was able to help me find my new style! Even though we lived 80+ miles apart she effortlessly made it work. We had several shopping excursions that was so much fun it was more like shopping with a best friend. We quickly found our groove and I had complete confidence that she understood what I liked, and her choices were always spot on. As a person, she is thoughtful, caring, and very easy to work with. Over the course of 10 months Sharon transformed our shell of a house into a beautiful welcoming home. Everyone who walks thru our front door (usually with mouth agape) comments first on the color flow then the kitchen cabinets and quartz counters before moving onto the built-in's, furniture and lighting fixtures. I love to watch their eyes bounce from wall to wall and room to room just amazed at the final result. When all was said and done, every single aspect worked perfectly. They had ideas and furniture but needed some help pulling it all together. Fresh paint and new window treatments can make a big impact, even when using your existing furniture. The key is to make it fit and flow so that's where I focused. After I gave them some suggestions and advice, Teresa & John took the reins and decorated their home themselves, and seem quite pleased with the result.
