**★★★★★ — Leah Sklarz, April 2024**

> My experience was great. I appreciated the weekly communication as well as the quality of the work and subcontractors. For the most part, I felt like I knew what was going on each week and in the times where I didn’t, Russell would respond back to any of my questions in a timely and very professional manner.
>
> Overall, I’d highly recommend working with Sterling Homes. After meeting with many contractors, my gut told me Russell was the best for the job and he exceeded my expectations.

**★★★★★ — Mela Sch, June 2023**

> Before our first-floor home renovation, I found my home cluttered and stressful. There was no flow to the house. Now that the project is complete, living in the space is relaxing and makes me feel happy and at ease.
> Russ is the best. He was always one step ahead of our asks on the project and answered all of our questions and concerns in a timely manner. He is caring, professional, and I consider him a good friend. I have worked with other contractors on multiple house projects so I had my doubts going in this renovation. Having someone like Russ on the project made a huge difference and I am so happy to have had the pleasure to work with Russ and his amazing team.

**★★★★★ — HU-570423768, Aug. 2022**

> We are very happy with our new kitchen by Sterling Homes. Russ and his team were professional, honest, and easy to work with. Our needs and design choices were paid close attention to and the installation went seamlessly. We are thrilled with our new kitchen, delivered on time and on budget by Sterling Homes. Thank you Russ!

**★★★★★ — David Swerling, Jan. 2020**

> Russ and team served as a true partner during the project to finish our basement. As with any successful partnership, an element of trust of critical. From project bid through completion of work, Russ' actions stood out and demonstrated that he was trustworthy and was a true partner with us for this project. Russ' focus on client service stood out during the entirety of the project. He was always transparent on pricing and scope changes, always accessible, and willing to lend perspectives based on his years of experience. We couldn't be happier with the high quality finish and craftsmanship and are looking forward to working with Russ and the team during our next project.

**★★★★★ — Harvey Tobin, Jan. 2018**

> This is a high endorsement for Sterling Homes Development. My wife and I decided to rebuild her house in Lexington, MA during the winter of 2017. At this time we didn’t know what it would take to rebuild. In doing an internet search I was able to find Sterling Homes. We then consequently met with the owner Russ Busa to discuss what it would take to do a new construction. During our meeting my wife and I were impressed with Russ, the one thing that stood out was his orientation toward the customer. In addition he provided us with a list of references for other projects he worked on. In speaking with them they spoke very highly of Russ and his company.
> In the initial contract with Sterling Homes we were quoted that the project would take 6-8months to complete. In the end the whole project only took 4 months. This was due to the diligence and professional approach that Russ took in the project, he was very hands on and making sure when things needed to get done they were done.
> Overall, my wife and are very impressed with the final product. The house is of very fine craftsmanship and construction, due to Russ’s insistence and assurance to quality. In conclusion we recommend Sterling Homes for any construction project that one may consider.

**★★★★★ — Brooke Halloran, Dec. 2016**

> Russ and the folks at Sterling Homes do great work. We were very happy with how our renovation came out. On time and great attention to detail!

**★★★★★ — aflonczak, March 2016**

> Our experience working with Russ and his extended team was superb! From our first meeting, we felt his commitment to excellence and customer focus. We found many members of the Sterling Homes team to be master craftsmen, and their quality of work was outstanding. Russ is a terrific project manager and made good on his promise to deliver an exceptional home to our designs. He very successfully guided us through the snowiest and coldest winter on record. Although Mother Nature caused delays, Russ was able to keep the project moving forward and ultimately on schedule. Throughout the entire process, from concept to delivery of our magnificent new home, Russ stayed true to his word and delivered an outstanding product. We LOVE our new house and continually receive compliments from visitors. We are very proud to call this our home.

**★★★★★ — erinmak, July 2014**

> Sterling Homes customized a gorgeous bathroom for us. The project stayed on budget and was nearly pain-free. We had to work within the existing parameters of the room, and Russ and his team did an excellent job helping us maximize the space while clearly explaining the constraints. In particular, Russ communicated almost daily to ensure that we knew what was going on every step of the way. That way, when there were hiccups in the schedule, they were not surprises. We couldn't be happier with the results! And we're already planning our next projects around the house ...

**★★★★★ — Julia Bonarrigo, June 2014**

> It seems like everyone who takes on a major building/renovation project has a contractor horror story to tell. We don't. From the first time we met Russ, we were impressed by his genuine interest in our home buying objectives and frustrations. Russ proved early on that he was the right person for our job. From offering his professional advice on several houses we were considering, to putting us in contact with realtors, local banks, and architects, Russ helped us immensely before his "real work" even began.
>
> We ended up with a house that required a complete "to the studs" remodel and Russ was with us every step of the way. Always responsive, Russ is never difficult to get a hold of. He takes the time to listen to your questions and address your concerns. He is a man of his word and follows-up on his promises.
>
> A lot of contractors say that they care, Russ really does. Two and half years after starting our renovation project, we are getting ready to begin phase two of our house project and Russ is still a trusted resource. We have recommended Sterling Homes Development to friends and colleagues and will continue to do so with no reservations.

**★★★★★ — jjrocka, March 2014**

> "The Sterling Homes team is a well oiled machine. Russ’s enthusiasm and professionalism is consistently mirrored by his sub-contractors. Everyone was courteous, prompt, and accommodating. Whenever there was a need for a change order or an added request, Russ and his partners were on top of it right away. Russell did an excellent job of keeping us up to date on all that was happening. He also gave us detailed information and ample time to make any decisions about available options and/or possible changes.
>
> We love our new home. Inside and out, it is gorgeous... from the high ceilings in the basement to the built-in dressers in the attic. The open floor plan for the first floor is fantastic. Our granite island is the heart of the new home and we love being together in the space. And our master bath should be in magazines! Every part of it is what we wanted. I will recommend SH wholeheartedly. Russ is a true professional. He was on time, on budget, and he delivered what he promised. Russ seemed to really enjoy the process as much as we did. He was fun to work with and we feel like we made a new friend in the process."

**★★★★★ — debbieosofsky, March 2014**

> Sterling Homes is a modular home builder that values affordable, energy-efficient design. The team’s commitment to high quality workmanship, willingness to problem-solve with us, and dedication to our project were invaluable to the successful completion of our custom modular home in just 6 months time. We built a strong relationship of mutual respect and trust with Russ and his team. And we really appreciated Russ’s approach of giving us options so that we could make informed decisions. Also, he's funny which helped us keep perspective whenever we got stressed. We would highly recommend Sterling Homes to other homeowners -- in fact, we already have.

**★★★★★ — glendalefab, Feb. 2014**

> We hired Sterling Homes for a complete, top-to-bottom renovation of a 1930s colonial. The project spanned several months, and Russ was with us from the very first zoning board meeting to the prompt completion of the final punch list item. After all that time, we can distill our experience working with Russ Busa and Sterling Homes down to two words: Russ cares. Russ cares about respecting the budget he has provided. He cares about sticking to the schedule he has established. And, above all, Russ cares about the quality of the product Sterling Homes is delivering for his customers.
