We had a disintegrating back entrance that was letting gallons of water into our kitchen. Owner, Rob came over within 24 hours and assessed our issue. He noticed a sag in our foundation that would lead to larger problems down the road. Our original plan was to demo the exit and replace damaged sliding doors with updated 8x8 foot sliders. Rob liasoned with metal workers to get a custom beam made to stop the sagging. They did the demo, and installed the massive door with two people in less time that we expected. How attached? A: The shower bench was custom made by us. We used quarter-sawn white oak (grain stability) and marine grade teak oil to protect it. Keeping it looking good is a maintainance issue the client was willing to take on. Reports are that it’s holding up well.
