> We built a home with Dostie one year ago.   The whole process was easy and enjoyable.  Every step along the way, everyone was attentive and helpful, and we never felt pressured.  We let them know our price point and goals for this house from the beginning, and Dostie helped guide us through the decision-making process.  Sam, Paul, and Heather were all extremely helpful in deciding where to spend a little extra and where to save money when possible.  As a result, we feel like we got a great home for our family and stayed within our budget.  I definitely recommend Dostie Homes and would absolutely build with them again in the future.

> My wife and I hired Dostie Homes to build our custom house. We didn't want the standard home and looked for a builder could understand what we desired and build it. From President Chris Dostie, to designer Sam Clausen to even their office staff they were helpful, nice, responsive and wanted to build our dream home. I am a quality engineer for a luxury automaker and deal with identifying defects every day so I am a tough customer. When I identified quality issues during the construction they were quickly fixed based on a call, an email or a quick discussion with the site supervisor or the construction manager. The house that was built has been built with great quality. Everyone whom has visited our home loves how great it came out and a year later we have had only one minor issue That is being fixed. I would highly recommend them

> I would have liked to see much more attention to the finish quality of the drywall, paint, trim and tile work.  When I came for the final walk through I was mortified at the number of items that needed repair.  The warranty guy ran out of time and post it notes and blue tape.  The home has been under continual construction through our entire first year and its been very disruptive.  If the work of the subcontractors would have been reviewed and corrected during the build this would be a very different situation.  There were also several critical mistakes made that caused us to forego custom designs we planned on, and live with other issues as they are to disruptive to fix while living in the home.

His work is aesthetically pleasing and more importantly it's well executed and livable! His attention to detail is superior and as a designer I appreciate his forethought.  He is knowledgeable and diverse within his field. You will not find a better architect or builder in Florida!
