> I hired Elana and Left Bank Design to completely remodel and renovate my home in Las Vegas. From the moment that she walked into the house you could see her mind working, asking question and making suggestions along the way. Once we came up with the design and style that we agreed upon, the process of coordinating contractors, picking out paint, fixtures, tile and accessories was what we spent the majority of the time doing.   Elana worked with the contractors and ensured that every detail was meticulously handled and when it was not, she made sure that it was done over and correct. ## Community Q&A

**Q: Floors** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type/brand/composition are the floors and where did you buy them?

A: I specified solid red oak, Character 3, or rustic grade. 
I am unsure where they were purchased.

**Q: Need help with my yard - Zone 8; clay based soil** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We plan on using existing some of the existing plants; we are looking for flowering evergreens (consecutive, if possible). Need to create some privacy along the back fence to the right of the evergreen and right of the oak trees. Would like a relatively low maintenance yard. Love to hear your ideas! Thanks!

A: sheap and peat seems to work better for me than cow. Try placing your trellis/ arbor (the white one you walk under) against the fence. Perhaps due a series of them spaced equally apart. Three is a good number. That  will add height to the fence line. then plant either a grape vine, honeysuckle, or other climbing vine that is airy. it will provide a different element other than the wood to your barrier and soften up the fence line. If you like color, try painting them fun crayola colors.
