He came back with a drawing of a beautiful, modern room with clerestory windows, and thoughtful rearrangements of the floor plan. We immediately approved his design. Tim was equally helpful in our dealings with the general contractor. Indeed, throughout the entire process, Tim was available to answer any questions and provide us with sound advice. We were almost finished the planning stages for a fairly large home remodel, when the architect we had hired for the project was killed in a tragic car accident. We loved our architect and obviously felt devastated for so many reasons. Unbeknownst to us, TPA Architecture had been assisting (behind the scenes) on that job, so they were quite familiar with our plans and vision. > > In absolutely the most respectful way, TPA introduced themselves to us, and offered to help see our project through to fruition if we would feel comfortable with that. Naturally, we were a little nervous, but felt it was the option that would make the most sense for us. > > Throughout that "picking up the pieces" part of the job, TPA never faltered, even for one second. Always with the deepest respect for the original architect, TPA finished our job with the highest integrity, without one bit of attitude, and proceeded selflessly in homage to the architect we lost. As a result, our home is clean, elegant and warm, and has a heart and soul, which is immediately palpable to anyone who comes inside. We were on the same "page" throughout the design process; they respected my suggestions when they made sense and politely declined when they didn't. The home is very livable and I look forward to spending time there every day. Once the contractor took over, TPA had at least one architect on site whenever needed by the builder and often many times per week. New drawings came within hours of request by the contractor. Did you do this with parapet walls all the way around? Or was this done some other way? Thanks! The exterior panels were corten steel (self rusting), but these interior panels were just cold rolled steel treated with a patina product rather than rusting them. Product is called Sculpt Nouveau and the color was Japanese Brown Patina. Panels were then clear sealed with mat product. **Q: Faucets?
