**Q: What size of kitchen faucet for island sink** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi I’m on the fence as to getting a bar style faucet vs a regular size faucet for this prep sink.
Here is the sink I’m getting. (Link and pic) it’s a Blanco Performa U Bar.

A: Hi! There's two questions that you need to answer before you can decide on the island faucet. 1. How tall do you want the faucet? Most bar faucets are shorter and less noticeable. If you don't mind a full height faucet, then you can do with a regular kitchen faucet.  2. What do you want your faucet to do? Typically a bar faucet is just a spout that turns on and off. It doesn't usually have a pull-out spray so if that's important to you, go with the regular faucet. If not, I'd recommend the bar faucet.

I need to pick a stain for my white oak floor. I would like to get similar or same look to the photo below. Does anyone know what are the best stain color combination to get this brown/grey effect?

I just redid this family room and had this small entertainment center made. Thoughts on what I should put on top of it?

**Q: Curtains floor length or sill length?** *(in Flooring)*

Hello all, husband and I are having little trouble deciding on the length of curtains for our home.
I want to go floor length, maybe an inch above the floor but my husband wants it to be sill length. He thinks having floor length will accumulate dust and is not good.
Is having floor length curtains current trend or is it old style?
Will it look good if the curtain ends 5 in. above the floor, right where the baseboard starts?

A: Hi Patty! The curtains should go to the floor. Do not stop them at the baseboard length. I think curtains should always go to the floor. Otherwise, it looks too choppy. The full length curtains will help your space to feel taller and look more grand.

**Q: Matching some ugly aqua tile** *(in Laundry Room)*

Trying to tone down the aqua in this laundry room. I'm not quite ready to tackle a tile floor so I will need to paint the walls and cabinets instead. Would like to keep it bright but white walls would look odd against cream colored baseboard. Cabinets are currently a butter cup yellow and tile is an aqua.

A: Hi! I would go with something that compliments the cabinet color and is neutral. Such as a light taupe color with warm undertones. Don't go gray, it'll bring out the blue in the tile.

I have Behr Marquee in Loyal which seems to be pretty close but possible going too much towards lavender. Any suggestions?

A: Everyone's computer screen will make the color appear slightly different.
But I would say it could be close to Benjamin Moore's Feather Soft 1431
