Rachel Reider Interiors was born out of a love of the creative design process, and since opening their doors in 2006, bold palettes and patterns have become the firm’s signature touch. With projects ranging from residential to commercial and beachfront to mountainside, Rachel started her business based on the simple idea that the best interiors reflect their inhabitants. But sometimes people need a little guidance along the way, and that's where Rachel Reider Interiors shines.

Throughout Rachel’s years at the helm, she’s racked up some notable accolades – New England Home’s “5 under 40” and Coastal Living’s Top 10 Coastal Design Trendsetters, to name a few – but most importantly, she’s developed long-term relationships with her clients based on her enthusiasm for mixing styles, colors and textures that really speak to their lifestyle. They know her as much for her calm demeanor, creative approach and keen eye for unexpected detail as they do for her signature splashes of color and fresh, inviting interiors.

**★★★★★ — Brian Chu, April 2019**

> We worked with Rachel and her team to make our new Boston South End apartment a home. We are thrilled with the results, which even got published in Modern Luxury. As important as the results was the way that Rachel, Tricia and the rest of the team worked with us. They listen closely to all of our input on style, color, and practical use concerns. She incorporated all of it while of course bringing that Rachel Reider pop of color and life into our home. We love the idea of decorating, but have limited time. We got both the great result and a fun creative experience. I definitely recommend working with her.

**Comment from Rachel Reider Interiors:**

> We loved working with you! Thank you for trusting us with your home and to bring your vision to life.

**★★★★★ — Katie S, Nov. 2018**

> Working with Rachel and her team was like having a dream come true. I have followed her work for years and always admired her vast portfolio from afar, on Instagram and through local Boston design magazines. Then 6 months ago we moved from the South End to Wellesley and decided that we needed some professional help getting settled. Our Patrick Ahearn home exuded traditional New England character on the outside, but the interior finishes were a bit rustic for our taste and we had rooms to fill. Rachel and her team listened to our likes/dislikes, we discussed our overall vision for the home, practical concerns with two young children and a puppy, and then they were off and running sourcing fabrics and furniture. Everything came together so quickly and so beautifully that we are still in awe of how designers do what they do. We look forward to completing the basement level and outdoor spaces in the next year or two so that they are up to snuff with the rest of the house. I would recommend Rachel Reider Interiors to anyone moving into a new home, or just looking to love their home again.

**★★★★★ — Ginger Weible, Dec. 2017**

> Rachel and her team are amazing and wonderful to work with. I want to stay in every hotel room she has creatively designed. She take "hotel room" to a new standard. Her residential design is awesome as well.

**★★★★★ — Toni Vicente, Oct. 2017**

> Rachel and her team are outstanding. We own a small boutique B&B which Rachel Reider Interiors completely re-designed and we could not be happier with the results. More importantly, the feedback from our guests has also been incredibly positive. Rachel and her team took our initial ideas and thoughts and developed a concept that blended contemporary and Victorian/colonial design to create a truly unique environment. The team were very easy to work with throughout the project - despite the pressures of a very large project and very tight timescales. I would not hesitate in recommending Rachel and her team to anyone embarking on a residential or commercial project.

**★★★★★ — Dawn Hagin, Oct. 2017**

> Rachel is the perfect blend of consummate professional and creative genius. She and her talented team spearhead the design for many of our hotels and the results show in both our guest feedback and in our fabulous press coverage. Rachel works very closely with me in developing the brand vision for each hotel's look and feel and executes a design strategy that truly tells the story of the individual property and destination. Her team always thinks outside the box while keeping durability and wear in mind for our high-volume hotels and restaurants. They are on-time, on budget and flexible in a very demanding and imprecise industry. I couldn't recommend Rachel Reider Interiors highly enough.

**★★★★★ — Manny Makkas, Feb. 2017**

> Rachel's attention to detail and overall approach to every project is what makes her one of the best Design firms we work with. As a drapery workroom, we're one of the finishing touches and its a pleasure to see months of planning and strategy come together on time and within budget.

**Comment from Rachel Reider Interiors:**

> Thank you Manny and Lori - we love collaborating with you on projects!

> With just one look at Rachel Reider Interiors' portfolio, it's easy to see why I wanted to work with this talented team. Their photos have dominated my Houzz idea books for years. The challenge in doing so was my recent move to Charlotte, North Carolina. (RRI is based in Boston, Massachusetts.) On a whim, I reached out anyway, and I am so glad I did. Rachel took a chance on a long distance project with me, and the results are even better than I imagined! Using photographs, taking precise measurements and discussing expectations allowed RRI to skillfully envision the guest rooms in our home. What sets Rachel, Tricia, and the entire RRI team apart from the sea of designers found here? Creatively, their spectacular designs served to push me ever so slightly outside my comfort zone, which I love. (I aspire to have such great taste! LOL) When I was uncertain of an item, RRI sent me alternatives, which more often than not, gave me the confidence to go with their original choice. Rachel and her team are prompt communicators, yet were gracious when I was unintentionally less prompt in checking email. The RRI team sent fabric samples, full-color renderings, and precise layouts for my review... and then conference-called me to walk through the minutiae of it all. They sourced local vendors to complete on-site work (...think custom curtain and lighting installs, etc.) and provided detailed estimates and concise monthly statements to keep our budget on track. When an item was delayed due to a back-ordered fabric, they gave me the option to wait or use an alternate, equally stunning option. I have been lucky to have had the chance to work with other design professionals prior, and in comparison, the transparency with which RRI operates (in terms of breaking down overall cost including design fees, custom goods, etc.) is refreshing. Surprise costs aren't fun for anyone, and this level of detail eliminated that stress. I cannot offer enough praise for the work that Rachel, Tricia and the RRI team did for us. I absolutely love the spaces, and feel certain that our future guests will be as dazzled as we are. Thank you, Rachel, Tricia, and Lauren!

> We have worked with Rachel Reider and her team on a few projects over the years, starting in 2010 when we moved from a city place to a house and again most recently on a newly renovated vacation house. We could not be more thrilled with the design, service, and vision. Rachel is a master at putting together color/pattern/texture, and layering them in artful ways. The result is exactly how we had hoped it would look, but never would have been able to achieve on our own. Rachel understands the aesthetic that we gravitate towards and the functionality and practicality (3 young boys) that we need, and she brings it all to the design. Rachel and Tricia are a joy to work with and are true professionals.

**Comment from Rachel Reider Interiors:**

> Thank you so much K! We loved working with you on both projects!

**★★★★★ — Landry & Arcari Rugs and Carpeting, June 2016**

> We have worked with Rachel on many projects over the years and we know first-hand that she is extremely professional and always looking out for her clients' best interest. A joy to work with, she has a great sense of color and style, a wonderful team and quick response times to client inquiries. Each of Rachel's projects are unique, employing different products, styles and colorways -- no two are similar! In short, she's one of the best in the area.

**Comment from Rachel Reider Interiors:**

> Thank you for always being a trusted vendor and great source for carpets!

**★★★★★ — Sara O'Brien, June 2016**

> We had an excellent experience with Rachel, decorating our new house. She really took the time to understand both our style and our lifestyle with two young kids. She offered a variety of design choices and helped us think about what would look best in our home. She gave advice without being overbearing. Both Rachel and her assistant Tricia were wonderful to work with. We would not hesitate to recommend Rachel or to work with her again ourselves!

**Comment from Rachel Reider Interiors:**

> It was wonderful working together and getting to know your family! Thank you for trusting us with your new home!

**★★★★★ — mcheng465, Nov. 2015**

> We recently completed a full renovation of our home and chose Rachel Reider because we loved the pictures of her work and how bold and playful she was with color and design. We could not be more thrilled with the result. Rachel is amazing. We brought her on board early in the project, and she worked closely and seamlessly with our architect and our builder. She and her team were extremely responsive and managed the timeline of the interior design process so that it dovetailed smoothly into the architect's and builder's timing. She also kept within our budget and made smart choices about how to get the most out of it.
>
> Beyond the process, Rachel's work speaks for itself. She understood what we wanted, and made our rooms fresh, inviting, durable for our young family, and infused with fun and beauty at every turn. While there are many different colors in the house, they flow and build on each other creating layers and combinations that delight us. We 100% loved working with Rachel and would recommend her to anyone.

**Comment from Rachel Reider Interiors:**

> Thank you! It was a joy to work together and get to know your family. I'm thrilled to hear how much you're enjoying the house.

**★★★★★ — Tara, Oct. 2015**

> Rachel and her team proved themselves to be good listeners, talented designers, and budget conscious. The result: a home we love.
>
> Rachel was upfront about what was and wasn't possible within our budget. She managed to create a design plan that pleased both my husband and me, which is no easy task considering we have different tastes. The team handled contractors, billing, delivery of furniture, questions, and edits with utmost professionalism.
>
> Our home feels like the best version of us, though we would have never been able to get it that way without the talented, detail-oriented people at Rachel Reider Interiors.

  - Description: When this globe trotting family decided to return from overseas, they picked a Back Bay penthouse that exuded Boston charm but lacked the modern touches they desired. To achieve the right balance, bold design elements such as rich jewel tones, lux fabrics and highly textured materials that reflected the clients' personal taste were mixed with more traditional pieces that respected the historical architecture of the building and neighborhood. The crowning design jewel was the couple's abundant co…

Situated in a newer building with striking views of Boston Common, the goal was to create a warm and welcoming home within the apartment's modern bones. Using a soothing palette of neutral colors against pops of pattern, rich textures, and jewel tones, careful consideration was paid to the functionality and flow of the spacious unit. The children's rooms were designed with playful touches to d…

  - Description: The renovation and reimagination of the harbor side hotel formerly called The Wesley was a major project, both in scope and in spirit. With 95 accommodations, a sprawling lounge, game room, and canteen, it represented our largest commercial undertaking to date. With the name Summercamp, we set out to create a modern interpretation of the spirit of camp; an inclusive place to gather, relax, refresh, and reconnect. The interiors are casual and fun, capturing the carefree essence of summer without…

When they stumbled upon a newly constructed home situated on the corner of a farm in Middletown, Rhode Island, they knew they had found just the spot.
