**★★★★★ — Marla Heagle, Sept. 2018**

> We hired RGN for a remodel on our guest house. Even though it was a small space, there were so many decisions we had to make! Rich, Pat and their onsite foreman Alejandro helped us work through every aspect of the project. The finished result is perfect!!

**★★★★★ — mer\_sullivan2, Nov. 2015**

> RGN installed a new heating/cooling system in my home. The effects have been life changing! My house is now warm in the winter and cool in the summer, which was quite the opposite –and quite miserable- before RGN's help.
>
> RGN impressed me in many ways. In my experience, RGN was:
> •Knowledgeable and informative about my old house’s issues.
> •Thorough in the diagnosis of the problem, as well as brainstorming and troubleshooting solutions.
> •Conscientious of my budget.
> •Dedicated to maintaining the aesthetic and charm of my home.
> •Collaborative with other vendors.
> •Upfront, honest and communicative with me about the process and what to expect.
> •Kind, friendly and respectful to my kids, dog and curious neighbors.
> •Eager to complete the job in a timely and high quality manner.
>
> Overall, RGN is a highly dependable group with strong direction and teamwork. I recommend RGN to anyone and everyone.

**★★★★★ — bertb1000, April 2015**

> RGN did a complete house remodel for us. We were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. They were respectful and careful with our home and the physical site at all times - we never felt like we were just 'another project'. The project plan was comprehensive and allowed us to track both schedule and costs from the inception thru completion of the project. Throughout the process we had frequent updates and contact about progress, discoveries of issues behind the walls that were surprises once we opened the house up etc. The RGN team were always clear about what was going on and gave us multiple options for moving forward. The sub-contractors that RGN used were all excellent as well. Now that the project is done we love the result and are confident that everything was done right. We love our new home! Thank you RGN.

**★★★★★ — Cliff Whidbey, March 2015**

> We hired RGN to build our new retirement home on Whidbey Island and highly recommend their full range of services. Meeting Island County's requirements for construction adjacent to a tidal lagoon is a significant challenge. RGN has been through this process many times and recommended appropriate and effective professionals to prepare the mandated shoreline, environmental and related reports. Patti Blevins of RGN is a persistent and tactful professional who worked tirelessly with the Island County planning and other departments to obtain our permit. Rich Nord, the principal of RGN, accessed skilled and cost effective sub-contractors for each phase of our project. We viewed the subs as artisans in their areas of expertise and we're highly satisfied with their work. RGN's onsite project supervison and hands-on workers also are excellent. We can't say enough about Chris' and Alejandro's good work, listening skills, suggestions, problem solving and keeping us informed of progress and issues. It took only 8 months from demolition of our 100-year old cabin until moving into our home. Thanks RGN! We love it! Cliff & Donna

**★★★★★ — toridotson, July 2014**

> RGN built out a commercial space for me that needed very unique finishes but required a fairly tight budget. Everyone at RGN was very understanding of our budget concerns, and even when we ran into some issues along the way, they were able to work with us. The finished space was absolutely what we asked for and is very workable and user friendly.
>
> I was extremely pleased throughout the entire construction process. Thank you RGN!

**★★★★★ — Kevin M, Nov. 2013**

> As designers, we love to collaborate with clients and contractors to create projects that exceed the client’s expectations. Working with RGN Construction has proven to be a true partnership in implementing our design intent and providing the client a truly remarkable final product. RGN Construction has developed a finely organized system of budgeting, scheduling and craftsmanship that always leaves the client highly satisfied with the process.

**★★★★★ — johnpsammons, Sept. 2013**

> RGN construction was the general contractor for our barn style garage/shop (with apartment on top). RGN was a perfect partner for this project. Their people were friendly, helpful, easy to work with and great problem solvers. They kept us completely informed regarding schedule and cost issues throughout the project. All their work was of extremely high quality. We could not be happier with the outcome. Icing on the cake: RGN completed the project on time and on budget.

**★★★★★ — sallypanderson, Aug. 2012**

> RGN Construction is an outstanding home building company. They are very professional, knowledgable, competent and extremely thorough. They have an excellent crew and all have been a pleasure to work with. They strive to please their customer at all times, are very dependable and stay on budget. ( they are also always looking for ways to cut costs without jeopardizing the quality of the project.) I would recommend RGN to any one who wants to build while still having a pleasant experience.

**★★★★★ — Dan Nelson, Designs Northwest Architects, May 2012**

> As an architect that focuses on custom residential construction it is important to work with a general contractor that is willing to work as a team mate to give our clients the highest level of professional service in predesign, design and construction.
>
> When I Work with RGN construction I know that I am working with one of the top residential contractors available and they are always a great addition to my team.
>
> I frequently work with RGN Construction during the design phase to help look at scheduling, constructability, and cost control.
>
> They are great craftspeople, honest, and dependable as well as a lot of fun to work with. Any time they are involved with my projects I know that the final result will be beautiful and my client will be extremely happy.

**★★★★★ — Lankford Associates Landscape Architects, May 2012**

> I want to highly recommend RGN Construction to anyone interested in high quality residential and commercial construction. I have worked with RGN for many years on commercial and residential projects, including remodels and new construction. Their attention to cost and detail is remarkable and my clients that have worked with them have been without exception delighted with the outcome. I am impressed with the care that is taken to listen to their clients through out the construction process. They are attentive to changes the client may need during the construction process and also during the contract cost phases. The results are dramatic. I consider RGN at the very top of contractors I recommend for high quality and reasonable cost. I cannot say enough about the results and care they take to ensure their clients are delighted with their work.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Who makes this carpet and what is the style called?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for asking! We got the carpet from Great Floors. I was told they don't make this type anymore but you may be able to speak with them about something similar.

**Q: Where can I get the dining chairs** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the dining chairs could you tell me the manufacturer ? Or where I could purchase?

A: Excellent question, these chairs and all the furniture seen in this home we constructed is property of the home owner. Unfortunately the manufacture of the chairs is not known to RGN, however if you click the icon that looks like a price tag on the chairs Houzz will direct you to chairs for sale that are very similar to those seen here.

**Q: How long are the short members that top the arbor?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They are about 2'. However it is very important to remember the scale of a project like this on a different application. The same materials and lengths my not present the same on a different house.

**Q: How are the short members of the arbor attached to the long members?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: All members of the arbor are attached via a toe-nailed counter sunk SDS, or other high sheer rated screw.

**Q: What is the material used for the arbor?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Excellent questions, the arbor was constructed out of cedar timbers. The corbels are 4x4's, the long members are 3X6's and the shorter members are 2X6's.

**Q: Wallpaper** *(in Photo Questions)*

What color is the wallpaper and where can I buy it?

A: Great question. The wall paper for this residence was hand selected by the homeowner and designer, unfortunately your requested information was kept between them.
