### Reviews

**★★★★ — Tracey Kloehn, Aug. 2022**

> Lisa was easy and fun to work with. She was great at scheduling contractors and deliveries and keeping me informed of such. Her expertise and experience is obvious and was very helpful in helping me make design decisions and completing my projects.

**★★★★★ — Linda Martin, Dec. 2021**

> Lisa is the consummate professional! She listens, she helps me stretch in my design, and she is helping my husband and I figure out all the delays in supplies so we have what we need when a particular phase is ready to begin. Her wealth of contacts in various professions needed to complete a project is most helpful.
>
> What is most impressive is her communication style. Always upbeat, never dismissive and explains the “why’s” of design. Though we aren’t complete on our basement construction project, she is always available to help.

**★★★★★ — kathy payne, Nov. 2021**

> Lisa was very helpful........creative.......good followup!!
> I really like my new outdoor spaces in particular!
> She really helped me purge things I didn't need & give me an updated look!

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thank you Kathy. You are so much fun to work with!

**★★★★★ — Gloria Tempesta, Dec. 2020**

> I worked with Lisa on a restyle of my living room and kitchen. She was open to my ideas, she gave me great suggestions. Lisa was always available when I had questions and or ideas. This was phase 1 of a multiphase restyle.
> I will use Lisa in the next phase's of my restyle.
>
> Thank you Lisa

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thank you Gloria. You are a great and creative client to work with. I look forward to the next phase. :-)

**★★★★ — Mark Rogers, Nov. 2020**

> So far we're really happy with Lisa. We tend to have only vague ideas with a very few specifics (that particular quilt, generally this style) and Lisa helps to make our notions more concrete. She's been really flexible about our choices -- explaining the trade-off we might be making between price and quality, especially with pieces that are likely to get a lot of use. We're really looking forward to our finished designs!
>
> We're still early in the process, so admittedly it's a bit early for a full-scale review, but when our project is complete I'll be sure to write an update.

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thanks Mark. So far, it has beea really fun process. I too look forward to seeing the end result. :-)

**★★★★★ — Liz Whitney, Nov. 2019**

> Lisa was recommended to me by a friend who also worked with her on a home project. I have had limited experience with using a designer and have found it very enlightening and comforting to have a pro to bounce ideas off of. Lisa is very professional, competent and personable and will provide solid practical advice and good value for her service. Our full late 70's home renewal is still in process, so no photos yet. at this time, paint, hard floors, entry doors, kitchen counters, room redesign- I am so excited to see and live in the results!!

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thank you LIz. I also can't wait to see the results of all of our planning! :-)

**★★★★★ — Lindsey Moreland, Nov. 2019**

> Lisa did an amazing job helping us modernize our new home. She was quick to identify my style (or lack of style!) and every product she sent for me to review was spot on. Lisa made working with contractors and deliveries easy and organized. We are extremely happy with the turnout and will definitely use Lisa again for our future remodels!

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thank you Lindsey! For the opportunity and for the praise. You have much more style than you give yourself credit for. That is why it turned out as well as it did! :-)

**★★★★★ — Brian Cox, June 2019**

> Lisa at Style Reboot remodeled our dental office reception area and we are thrilled with the outcome! Lisa works from the ground up and has a natural eye for design details.
> She is time and money conscious and has an impressive network of professional contacts to help get the job done no matter how big or small. I would highly recommend using Style Reboot for any remodel or design project.
>
> Brian Cox Dentistry

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thanks Brian. Such a big change accomplished in such a short space of time. Thank you for your trust. I'm so glad to know how much you and your patients are enjoying the space.

**★★★★★ — Smadar Lapidot, May 2019**

> Lisa is an amazing interior designer. She is creative and has vision of what a space can look like, no matter where you are starting. She helped us redesign two spaces in our home. First, our main living room was hardly used. Lisa suggested shifting the location of the gas fireplace (not a huge job because a gas fireplace is basically an appliance like an oven or dishwasher). We followed her suggestion, and today the living room is, as it should be, the heart of the home (open layout, so adjacent to kitchen) and where everyone wants to hang out. The fireplace gets a ton of use!
> The second space that Lisa helped us with is finishing our basement. We had a large basement that was completely unfinished, with a rough in for a bathroom. Using Lisa's design of the space, we now have a master bedroom, a 3/4 bath, a kitchen space, two smaller bedrooms (that I use as office space) and another wonderful family room with a TV and wood burning stove. A truly cozy and inviting space, warm in the winter from the stove, and cool in the summer from being a basement.
> I would highly recommend Lisa for any interior design job you have, and I will most certainly call her again for any future projects!

**★★★★★ — Ellen Yastrow, Dec. 2018**

> Lisa has been great to work with. I love her ideas and appreciate that she is willing to work within my budget. Also she is very business-like, organized and prompt.

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thank you so much Ellen. It is so fun to work with you.

**★★★★★ — Ryans Gulch, Nov. 2018**

> We have never hired a designer before and had no idea what we were getting into when we hired Lisa. We planned to remodel our kitchen into our dream kitchen in our new home (that is 300 miles away from where we currently live) we knew we needed help with the design and distance.
>
> Lisa was great at this. She not only very quickly helped us design a layout (remotely at times), she was quick to source materials and even had a few contractors she trusted and used. She oversaw the project, caught errors before they were costly errors, and followed through to completion and even a warranty issue ten months later!
>
> I'm confident she saved us money and our kitchen looks better than our expectations.
>
> She listens, communicates, and is a hard working designer. We plan to use Style Reboot again when we do our master bathroom.

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> It may have been your dream kitchen project but you were my dream clients to work with! I'm so happy about how it turned out. Thank you.

**★★★★★ — Rebecca Schuh, Oct. 2018**

> Lisa did the remodel of our kitchen and dinning area as well as the re-flooring and painting of the entire first main floor of our home. She did a great job of listening to what we wanted and how we wanted our kitchen/dining area to function. She picked out cabinetry, windows, flooring, tiles and appliances that fit perfectly with our aesthetic. At the time of the remodel we were not living in the home so Lisa worked very closely with contractors to quality check the remodel and keep it on a reasonable time frame. The finished remodel flows perfectly with the original personality of the home. Thank you Lisa!

**Comment from Style Reboot:**

> Thanks Rebecca! You and your great taste made it a delightful project! Communication was also so easy even though you were far away. :-)

## Selected projects

- [Outdoor Rooms- Old Town, Fort Collins, CO](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/outdoor-rooms-old-town-fort-collins-co-pj-vj~1151903)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: The vision for this yard was to create a series of outdoor "rooms" in which to hang out. Each would invite the user to engage in a different type of recreation...conversation, dining, reading, resting, contemplation, edible garden. Here is a sampling of these spaces.
- [Loveland Lake House Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/loveland-lake-house-kitchen-pj-vj~2995585)
  - Location: Loveland, CO
  - Photos: 8
  - Description: The goal of this kitchen remodel was to transform a small, dark kitchen that was not inviting, and difficult to work in efficiently, into a perfect work space for a young couple that loves to cook and entertain. In addition, we wanted to maximize the beautiful lake views from the kitchen and adjacent breakfast room. We opened up the space literally and aesthetically by taking down a wall, repositioning and replacing windows and doors, reconfiguring layout, installing new custom cabinets , and li…
- [Contemporizing a 1906 Victorian, Fort Collins, CO](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/contemporizing-a-1906-victorian-fort-collins-co-pj-vj~97317)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 21
  - Description: This Victorian built in 1906 had beautiful bones but also a very closed in and fussy, period- correct feel to it. The new owners wanted an open feeling, more flow and the ability to bring a modern sensibility to it without losing old world character. We installed a metal ceiling in the dining room, opened up walls and doorways, added an eat at counter, new cabinetry and appliances to the kitchen (also remodeled), kept the original farmhouse sink, and kept or matched the dark old wood trim to ret…
- [Downtown Denver Modern Loft](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/downtown-denver-modern-loft-pj-vj~1436672)
  - Location: Denver, CO
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: Such a fun project designing a two story pied a terre loft for the owner that would also serve as a high-end AirBnB. The owner wanted something fun, with clean lines, but comfy and cozy. She also wanted it to feel chic without having to worry about wear and tear from guests.
- [Downtown Denver Modern Loft II (Bedrooms)](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/downtown-denver-modern-loft-ii-bedrooms-pj-vj~2825666)
  - Location: Denver, CO
  - Photos: 6
  - Description: Two bedrooms. An upstairs loft guest room overlooks the living room downstairs. Though it is large, the owner wanted to keep it feeling spacious and airy with a seating area so that guests had a private place to hang out if they did not want to be in the shared space of the living room. The master bedroom is downstairs and has large windows with natural light but a lot of street life outside them. We needed light and privacy for both bedrooms.
- [Craftsman Style Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/craftsman-style-remodel-pj-vj~6091112)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 19
  - Description: This house was built in the late 1990s and was always intended to be a very Craftsman-style home. The owners needed to refresh their cash before finishing the inside and unintentionally waited until 2 years ago to begin the woodwork, room dividers, built-ins, and intricate designs that are what really define a Craftsman home. Warm colors for the woodwork and walls, Rookwood tile fireplace, Stickley furniture and rugs, curated shelves and cabinets for books and display, plein air artwork, warm li…
- [Long narrow Living Room with Unusual Dimensions](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/long-narrow-living-room-with-unusual-dimensions-pj-vj~5685593)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 6
  - Description: This living room is long and narrow with a front door bisecting it. The challenge was to unify it as one room. By creating multiple conversation and reading areas, we were able to utilize all the space yet have each area feel related to the whole. A large custom rug made of carpet tiles adds to the unity of the space.
- [Unfinished Basement Project](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/unfinished-basement-project-pj-vj~5657628)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 21
  - Description: This was a completely unfinished basement from the early 1900s with a combination of dirt and concrete floors, exposed plumbing and electrical, no interior walls, etc. When finished, it needed to house two extra bedrooms, a family room, a playroom, a bathroom, a laundry room, a mechanical room, and storage. In addition, it needed egress windows cut into a stone foundation. It was definitely a challenge but the results doubled the living space for this happy family.
- [525 Sage Avenue, Greeley, CO](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/525-sage-avenue-greeley-co-pj-vj~1829718)
  - Location: Greeley, CO
  - Photos: 18
  - Description: A custom home built in early 2000s needed a fresh take to reflect its new owner's sensibility and to make it less vanilla. She wanted to concentrate on the areas that she spends the most time in, Master Bedroom, Dining Room, Living/Music Room, and Family Room. In addition, she wanted to take a narrow deck with little appeal and make it an extension of the family room for hanging out on beautiful days or evenings.
- [Teen Bedroom Refresh](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/teen-bedroom-refresh-pj-vj~5658721)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 6
  - Description: This was a small bedroom that needed updating from little girl to teen. We painted the walls a deep taupe to give it a more sophisticated feel. Then we found an antique quilt whose colors we loved and used those for the pops of color in the room. French Blue and Melon. An antique Persian rug also added a bit of sophistication.
- [1940s Mudporch Turned Breakfast Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/1940s-mudporch-turned-breakfast-room-pj-vj~1159169)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 5
  - Description: This falling down mud-porch was built well after the house but was still considered of historical interest. Finally, we convinced the historical society to let us tear it down but leave the roof-line and the footprint intact and rebuild it as a breakfast room that would be user-friendly, private, and eco-friendly. In addition, it and the stair case to the basement that it sat above would come much closer to the city building codes. The result was a beautiful, sunny, peaceful breakfast room that…
- [Old Town New Build](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/old-town-new-build-pj-vj~1165455)

- [Empty Nester Bedrooms Remodel - South Fort Collins, CO](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/empty-nester-bedrooms-remodel-south-fort-collins-co-pj-vj~1151617)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 6
  - Description: With their last child moving out of the house, this client wanted to remodel the upstairs wing that had the kids'' bedrooms into a chic and eclectic series of guest rooms. Here is what we came up with.
- [Small Bathroom - Old Town, Fort Collins, CO](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/small-bathroom-old-town-fort-collins-co-pj-vj~1662170)
  - Location: Fort Collins, CO
  - Photos: 5
  - Description: This was a tiny bathroom in a 1903 Victorian house, made even smaller by dark wood wainscoting, chair rails, crown molding, and a claw foot tub/shower.. The desired effect was to be light, airy, and contemporary even though the space was small. The owner wanted to retain the old baseboards and doors to tie it in to the rest of the house.
- [A Room for a College Girl on a Tight Budget](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/a-room-for-a-college-girl-on-a-tight-budget-pj-vj~5659283)
  - Location: Philadelphia, PA
  - Photos: 5
  - Description: A haven for a young college girl, this room was a true collaboration with the occupant and her budding style sensibility. Having grown up a horse girl, she had lived in a theme bedroom until going off to college. She wanted a complete departure from that with very little money to spend. This was her first opportunity to express her new sensibility from the ground up...almost. She was not allowed to change the brown carpet, the doors, molding, and trim...too expensive and it would have required p…
- [Dentist Waiting Room Refresh](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/dentist-waiting-room-refresh-pj-vj~5673392)
  - Location: Not specified
  - Photos: 4
  - Description: Though Houzz is really for residential projects, I thought it would be fun to mix it up a bit with this small Dentist waiting room remodel because it still gives ideas for a bright, inviting conversation area that can translate to a home. We layered multiple colors of gray with marigold yellow and a tiny accent of teal. The result is cheery, with clean lines.
