The current layout is odd, bedrooms in the front, little closet spaces, a dysfunctional kitchen with no counter space and no room for a kitchen or living room. The architect proposed a flip of the layout and reduce it to one bedroom. I love the layout, but I’m struggling with choosing between having a living room or a dining room in front of house. Is this color too dark to use in a living room or a larger sized bathroom (16' x 16') with natural light? Twilight Graphite Tile I would just use it on the floors (I have a dog). Any recommendations on what other tile to pair it with? Thanks! A: The tile you have selected does not work with style and color pallette you have already. I would choose a ligher neutral wheat color tile. This is wood but the color is good. Choose a color that blends with the wood floors you have in the main living area. I actually love the stone, but it’s difficult to find paint colors that don’t clash. Looking to paint the stucco, trim, including garage door. Windows are white and we don’t plan on replacing them anytime soon. Would it be sinful to paint the stone white?? I’m conflicted. Any advice/photo suggestions are so appreciated!! (Ps. We are taking the woodstove pipe out of the middle of the room. Otherwise, I'm at a loss. What do you do with a long skinny room like this? we also have to move the big piano out of the living room, it takes up too much space. I think the windows need to be a bit bigger. A: If budget allows, larger windows would be a great upgrade and beneficial change. Once the pipe is gone and you can center the table where the pipe was this will be a great improvement.
