The paint color we picked out was SW6215 Rocky River for the entertainment center and SW6213 Halcyon Green for the rest of the rec room. So the entertainment center is a dark green and then a lighter green on the rest of the walls with the enamel trim and cherrywood cabinets on the bar and we have stone that is a whitish brown and also the granite is more of a light brown. Also on the bar picture their is going to be the same stone there that is on the entertainment center. We are not wanting to have a brown color as that is what we have up stairs and the rest of the house and we don't want everything to blend together and not see anything. We looking for something more warm and not dull. Can you please make some recommendation what color tones or and specific color you would do to make this room come together. The green color choices just seem out of place. We want a darker color on the entertainment center and then a lighter color. Please help I am having the painters come by this week to repaint. Also I have a excersie room and a mech room with the SW6213 Halcyon Green color. Would we be able to leave that or would we want something to flow with the other colors? If you prefer a much lighter look another Benjamin Moore paint is Subtle. Your stone is gorgeous either of these colors will make it pop! Good Luck Lisa Pfaff Pfaff Pfineries Home Design and Decor **Q: Need help with dining room wall color** *(in Design Dilemma)* I'm planning on removing the 18 year old wallpaper. What color should I paint the walls? The kitchen is SW Wholewheat, foyer is grayish green, formal living room is neutral yellow. Not sure what to do with the dining room. Any suggestions? A: Vjs12, Carolyn suggestion of the darker color on the bottom is right on target. A darker color on the bottom adds weight to your room, while a lighter color adds height and gives a larger feel to the room. I find it always helps to have rooms flow easily together, which gives the illusion of a more open space. Your side chairs are great!
